I have had the Endless SSM Plus pads installed for a couple hundred miles no with pretty much no dust in comparison to the stock pads. Initial bite might be a touch weaker but modulation is great and overall power is at least the same. I reused the stock backing plate and put anti seize on the plate where the pistons meet it and I have zero noise. 10/10 from me.

That's great and Zero noise as well !! Do you have a part # for the Endless SSM Plus pads you used? And do they come in a kit for both front and back together?

Hate to bring this up again and I have read all the reasons why enthusiasts just love having performance brake pads for superior braking and that brake dust is ok to deal with but... I am, not a fan of the dust...and I also love great breaking but after having performance brakes on my BMW 135i and Speed3 and dealing with heavy brake dust for years it was relief to get away from it for a few years now in my wife's Mazda Turbo CX-5 which has good brakes but not as good as the GR Corolla., but good. And no dust. I am willing to give up a little brake performance for brakes that do not create so much dust , even in local easy driving. the GR rims are coated after just a few miles.. Regardless of cost is there options out there for pads that will work with the GR and not create so much dust...Not looking to change anything but the pads. Obviously I will live with the dust if need be as I like the car but for street driving that I do that's fairly non aggressive except for some pulls here and there on back roads...no track driving ... GR does have the Performance Pack...suggestions?
If the pads are identical with the GR Yaris, I would look into what their forums have said. The GR Corolla is just too early in its life cycle. On other cars, I've had good results with Akebono.

I've always used akebono for OEM application. them being a leading JDM OEM supplier is probably why it's a good choice for JDM cars. here are my extra set of GRC pads... they're easy on the rotors but dust like crazy

Any update on the bluestuff or M-sport ssm? I dont see any vendors selling either of these that look trustworthy.

It is confirmed that the GRY pads work no issue on the GRC correct?

I see Carbotech offers 1521 compound pads for GRC. Over $400 for both axles. I mention because I have a set of these on my 86 and they literally don't dust at all.

Unfortunately they squeal when they get hot. Sometimes even just warm. Lots of people swear by them so I'd love to hear how they do for people with GRC. I'm not a big fan of the very gentle initial bite but otherwise very linear modulation. They seem not to wear the rotor almost at all and both will last approximately infinity miles they way it's looking. I guess all energy is turning into heat and.. sound.

I am also a big fan of Akebono OEM pad material. I think GRC's dusts a lot because there is a ton of pad area compared to typical applications of this material. If I could find pads with this compound to fit my 86's calipers I'd buy a set in a heartbeat. Dust be damned.

I just put gry blue stuff front and rear they fit.
Let us know how they hold up and work with brake dust.
Also who did you order through?

ID-Workz Ltd | eBay Stores I ordered from these guys but they don’t list them anymore. It’s a shame I was really good price and only took alittle over a week to get here from uk. I bedding them in right now and will be going to track day this weekend with them. It was tight fit on front but everything lined up perfectly. And the rears just dropped right in.

Spoke to Powerstop, got this response:

At this time my product manager does not have an ETA on the brake pads. They are in the process of developing already so maybe by the end of the year we should have them.

Thank you,
Pedro Galvez

Ebc blue stuff did amazing at barbers hardly any fade while braking as late as possible. Also way less dust highly recommend.
now we just need one of these grc specific shops in the US to start stocking them for us :)
