Just installed Endless SSM+ pads and cleaned the wheels. I'll see how much dust I get compared to the stock pads in the next few weeks.

Also, I know Japan was known for their excessive wrapping/packaging, but I really can't complain...they really took care to make sure everything was protected, down to the individual pads.

You wont regret it, my wheels look so much better now. I get more road dirt/ grime on em than brake dust now.

Thanks, good to know that I won’t have to clean my wheels as often.

What bedding-in procedure did you use? The instructions that came with the pads only mentioned something about doing a few hard stops, but nothing specific.

That's pretty much what I did, Got it up to 60 or 80 then got on the brakes hard and slowed down to about 10/15. repeated that a few times and its been great.

The main purpose of bedding the brakes is to get a buildup of brake pad material on the rotor. It helps with stopping. A slick new rotor is not a good surface for a brake pad to grip. So, unless you replaced rotors it's probably fine to skip it.

However, if you do go ahead and bed them, the main thing is don't come to a complete stop on any of your runs and drive gently for a bit afterwards to let them cool before stopping. If you stop while everything is really hot, you may end up with an excess deposit in one spot and it will feel like a warped rotor.

I ordered the SSM+ pads 11/25 and they sent me an email with about a 90 day waiting period i said cool no problem. They showed up today vis UPS. 7 days and the arrived. I will be putting them on tomorrow

Mine took more than 30 days, but they were worth the wait. I was tired of that much dust on my daily car. They actually made more dust than the race pads on my other car.

For those with the endless ss m-plus, did the front pads all look the same?

The stock inner pads have like wings at the bottom.

They fit without a problem, just checking.
Those chamfers are to help reduce squealing by preventing brake dust buildup on the leading edge. Different manufacturers have different methods (angles, placement, etc) as you can see, but its all for the same purpose. They don't affect the braking performance at all.

edit- or if you're talking about the notch on the backing plate, I don't think it affects anything, maybe just a manufacturing step to attach a wear indicator. I'm pretty sure that area of the backing plate doesn't even interact with anything, it just hangs there.

Yeah I was referring to the shape of the backing plate. The longer portions that hang.

The pads fit without a problem. Braking feels a bit different, a tad less bite, but still feels good, and for a street car, I think they are perfect if there's less brake dust, so fingers crossed.

After a week and a half, Im convinced these pads are a must for anyone with light colored wheels.

At this point I perceive no difference in braking, and the brake dust is cut down so much.

This is after a week and a half, including a couple of days where I drove in the rain. With the stock pads the wheels would look horrible after 4 or 5 days.

Definitely recommend the Endless SSM plus pads.

I can also report that my brake dust has considerably (maybe by a factor of 10) reduced by going to Endless SSM plus pads. The factory pads had more dust than the race pad on my other car. I have not noticed any reduced braking power either (strictly daily driven car).
