This color still makes me sad as a fan of red. I saw it at the LA Auto show on a Mirai and was underwhelmed. I don't understand why they didn't go with a shade like on the GR86 or Supra.
It’s got like this Maroon vibe to it. Reminds me of a common shade of women’s lipstick they wear. I wish I could dig it but don’t. Same color as the GRY so it’s nothing new. Didn’t really care for it when the GRY came out and still don’t. It does look better in sunlight compared to the dark or covered parking.

I have to agree 100%. It's a color that only looks good in perfect sunlight. Maroon-ish or ruby is accurate in most indoor or shaded lighting. I coined the term "old man red" a long time ago that I think fits here. It's like the color the 65 year old guy gets on the Corvette if you follow my vibe. This being said, it's not horrible so I can see some people being totally fine with it.

I must have the soul of a 65 year old dude because I love dark maroon reds like these. I'll be hard pressed to settle for white or black core whenever I get the offer. I would honestly be happy with just about any color that isn't white, black, or a shade of gray.... so red it is lol.

The red on the GR Yaris is Scarlet flare which is a lighter tone of red which I personally love. Supersonic red is still my preference as white coloured cars are everywhere, especially SUV’s and so boring. I really dislike black and would reluctantly take white.

All SUVs here are 'granpa red' 🤢 especially the rogue

I’m trying to convince myself. It hasn’t taken yet.

I can show you this rendition of Supersonic Red under several lighting conditions.

I'm really feeling the red. I'm glad all the CE colors are acceptable, and that black wasn't an option. Told my mom dealer in I'll take any CE, with a color preference of:
1. Heavy metal
2. Supersonic red
3. Ice cap

Kinda wish wind pearl was an option for the CE and not just the ME.
