When I picked mine up, there were zero swirl marks. My theory is that someone didn't know what the heck they were doing and washed it incorrectly. The dealer I picked mine at said that they use a touchless carwash.just went to pick up mine, the moment I turn the corner to see it upfront I can spot Swirl marks and scratches in every single panel. Any of you when you picked up yours saw a crazy amount of swirl marks and scratches? they dont look deep, but still I never seen a new car with SOOOOOOOO many scratches in every panel, I even saw them in the door sills, possibly factory defect but the dealer is saying possibly transport. idk should I take the car and have a paint correction done? the manager at the time was saying about getting a buffer, i said stop, I want the paint measurements and do a case with toyota before touching the paint. how much would a paint correction on this car cost? sorry, im also venting I drove a total of 4 hours to pick up the car to find it in this condition, its just infuriating
My black GRC was in disappointign shape when I picked it up, and not because the dealer had cleaned it. I specifically asked them not to clean the car and they actually listened. The problem was it sat on the showroom floor for 4 days before I picked it up and you could see all the handprints from people, people dragging their hands across it, scratches from leaning against it, etc. There were areas that almost looked sanded they were scratched so bad. But I was getting PPF done anyways so while I was upset, it's since been fixedjust went to pick up mine, the moment I turn the corner to see it upfront I can spot Swirl marks and scratches in every single panel. I also prefer the plain calipers. Though in Canada they should at least put a little red maple leaf on it so people know it's got the diffs, considering how the car is completely worthless to the internet without themView attachment 7088
Here in Canada, we don't get the options for red calipers but Torsen diffs are standard and the brakes are the same

Having recently debadged my GR and dealt with another glue residue mess, a heat gun on low setting + WD40 (or Goo Gone) worked pretty well - did it with my hands versus filling up paper towels or rags. Some of it comes off like a glue residue. Anyone have any ideas
What do you think it is?Having recently debadged my GR and dealt with another glue residue mess, a heat gun on low setting + WD40 (or Goo Gone) worked pretty well - did it with my hands versus filling up paper towels or rags.
Not sure what you mean? On your car? If it's glue or adhesive residue you can usually tell what it is.What do you think it is?
