I just ran the configurator. If that’s a loaded core, with all 3 packages, and $425 for Supersonic Red, that car at MSRP with destination included is $39,870. So not even $40k, and they want fifty five thousand dollars, Supra money. LMAO.Fred Haas Toyota world in Houston texted me this morning offering me this one available since I was first in line but at $55K +TTL I declined 😂. Be prepared for some stupid mark ups ppl

El PasoNICE! where from
Saw a black one in the showroom three weeks ago and it had very few swirl marks. Seemed pretty good, especially for black which shows everything.just went to pick up mine, the moment I turn the corner to see it upfront I can spot Swirl marks and scratches in every single panel. Any of you when you picked up yours saw a crazy amount of swirl marks and scratches? they dont look deep, but still I never seen a new car with SOOOOOOOO many scratches in every panel, I even saw them in the door sills, possibly factory defect but the dealer is saying possibly transport. idk should I take the car and have a paint correction done? the manager at the time was saying about getting a buffer, i said stop, I want the paint measurements and do a case with toyota before touching the paint. how much would a paint correction on this car cost? sorry, im also venting I drove a total of 4 hours to pick up the car to find it in this condition, its just infuriating
I know black does show everything, but those scratches even from afar just show a large amount of scratches, even the salesmen acknowledge that he has never delivered a black car like that. I asked them to create a case with toyota first, then get the paint thickness measurements, then have toyota create a fix. before any buffer comes close to that car.Saw a black one in the showroom three weeks ago and it had very few swirl marks. if I didn’t see the username then I thought I wrote this. Mine has crazy swirls too my gf found them. I had what looks like key marks and deep swirls like someone took sandpaper to it. Currently in at the dealer for paint correction and they’re going to try to buff the other parts.just went to pick up mine, the moment I turn the corner to see it upfront I can spot Swirl marks and scratches in every single panel. tbh the dealer should pay for it. they shouldn’t deliver the car like that. mine is paying for it and fixing it. toyota paint overall is always thin. good luck. let me know how your situation turns out.I know black does show everything, but those scratches even from afar just show a large amount of scratches, even the salesmen acknowledge that he has never delivered a black car like that.
