Looks like there are at least 10 norcal members on the forum that have taken delivery of their GRC so why not start a NorCal roll call and plan meets/drives etc.

I’ll start it off - hello from the East Bay Area!

Also,
Just out of curiosity when did everyone here get their car? The dealership was trying to tell me that I was the “first GRC owner in NorCal”…. I highly doubt it but just curious. I got mine 12/30/22 in Yuba City.

Yep it’s 1 free track day, they send you a code to use when registering. The dealership I purchased with already had my email address on file from communicating with them. So if you at any time provided your email address or communicated via email with your dealer, you should be good.

I’ll be at thunderhill west on March 19th if anyone is interested!

5k oil change, most Toyotas don't get their first free oil change until 10k.

They will do an break-in/early fluid change as well if you request it (not covered by Toyota Care though). They also accept the Costco service discount if you're a member.

Gonna try out sunnyvale Toyota for my 5k service this week. Will report back on the experience.

Down for a norcal meet, any recommendations on location and day/time?

@Dr.Sound would we be able to use your community club house?!
I am still not brave enough to bring my car in for service at a dealership. 😂
My go to is still Envision toyota because I know a few service advisors.

I would like to have a Bay Area GRC meet but it’s so hard to find some these folks. Some are on instagram, facebook, reddit, or nothing. They’re never all in one place.

San Jose checking in! Just picked up my white Core a couple of weeks ago. Finally went up 9/35 today to see what she’s capable of!

Definitelycurious to hear about your experience with them! Can’t decide between Sunnyvale or Stevens Creek to start doing my services.

I’m happy to report that I had a great experience with Sunnyvale Toyota’s service department. A few of the employees there own GRC’s, everyone was super friendly and seemed to know what they were doing. Bonus points for the Morizo sitting in the showroom to stare at while I waited. They brought my car out, didn’t do any “road test” bs, didn’t wash it as I had asked and got me an oil sample. 10/10 experience
