Yeah, I appreciate that Toyota went with a vented hood. And I appreciate functional vents as much as the next guy but it just doesn't look amazing to me. As a core owner if I'm gonna shell out money for another hood it's gonna be something I really like. And I've always been a sucker for the Varis design style.

This surprisingly looks great! Definitely the best hood out right now. I don’t typically love their designs, but this looks good. I was hoping for something a little more dramatic though, kind of crazy time attack style kit like the HKS Yaris with the rocket bunny kit lol.

Does anyone know of a company that has the time attack style in the works? Big ass wing, canards, etc. I think a functional, crazy, aggressive time attack style kit would look great on our cars because of how aggressive looking it already is.

Varis has two styles the arising is more tame and the kamikaze is the time attack style. I believe the Yaris has both already

Just looked it up! Definitely more what I’m looking for. Hope they do the same for the GRC. I thought I’ve seen some crazy stuff from Varis on other cars, but I never looked into their naming scheme

I confirmed with Naohiro Yahagi, the brains behind Varis, that he is indeed working on more parts for the platform.

I’m more than satisfied with the Circuit hood, it does look better in certain colors like Heavy Metal. The problem is that for the most part people always looking buy or improve something. If it’s not the hood, is the wheel, if is it’s not the wheels is the exhaust or the spoiler/ wing and so on. Is the nature of people.

I was okay with the CE hood until I saw it in person. I didn't like the way the vents protruded above the hood, they just looked like an after thought. I thought they could have been integrated much better and more flush. That's one of the reasons why I stayed with a Core, they hood was a cleaner look like the GR Yaris.

Yes, I had planned to do an entire kit and was leaning toward Flow Design but I do like how this front lip follows the curve of the car. I wasn't sure how that gap would appear in person on the flat front lip of that kit, so hard to tell in the pictures. Extreme Online Store ended up being a sponsor for me allowing me to try some of their products and I really liked the way this looked. I just need to figure out what I want to do now for the sides and rear. It would be great if they came out with a matching set of sides for it as they do have a lot of things for other cars and said more would be coming for the GRC. I was very happy to see how well it fit too. It protrudes out about 2".
