A lot of drilling required? Minimal? Or does it only use the stock mounting points?
It uses many of the stock mounting screws and they have already drilled the holes for the position of additional small self taping screws for additional support. I will be doing a video on the install so you will be able to see exactly the position of the screws.

Yes, I had planned to do an entire kit and was leaning toward Flow Design but I do like how this front lip follows the curve of the car. I wasn't sure how that gap would appear in person on the flat front lip of that kit, so hard to tell in the pictures. Extreme Online Store ended up being a sponsor for me allowing me to try some of their products and I really liked the way this looked. I just need to figure out what I want to do now for the sides and rear. It would be great if they came out with a matching set of sides for it as they do have a lot of things for other cars and said more would be coming for the GRC. I was very happy to see how well it fit too. It protrudes out about 2". View attachment 22958
Looks nice and 2 inches is not bad at all. Pics make it seem like it be around 4. 👍🏽

Takahiro Ueno posted a teaser of the Vertex GR Corolla. What I see is a midwing, rear spat, side skirt, trim piece around the diffuser, and an exhaust that retains the OEM look. View attachment 23005
About what I expected, Vertex usually does cleaner simple looking kits vs crazy wild aggressive. We have Varis, we have Vertex, can we get the other "V" JDM aero company to get on the GRC bandwagon?? Voltex, step up to the plate please!!! 🤞🏼🙏🏼

Is that the AWE exhaust or a sneak peak to someone elses? Logo on tip doesn't look like AWE
JDM companies (which Vertex is) tend to run either their own products, or other JDM brands.
AWE is an American brand. If i were to guess, its their prototype exhaust or some other JDM company.

Are you referring to sound or the look, for what you didn't like on AWE?
Oh it sounds great but wasn't executed like I thought. If it kept the valve I would of been more for it but removing the valve, 16lbs more and at around $1300 for the touring id rather spend the extra couple hundred for the RK, save the weight, looks good and sounds good.

For me its either OEM+ where it retains OEM functions, looks, with more noise and not crazy heavy or I just go obvious aftermarket like RK.

Pretty much, if I'm going to drop money I'm going to get exactly what I want and a valveless triple exit isn't what I was looking for.
