I've never had a car before that produces this much brake dust. I guess it's just the price of admission.
someone posted this link earlier in the post. That's what I ordered.Which part number are you all ordering? Looks like there is a RS, RC, and RZ. What’s the difference?
Wait, is this both front and rear sets? Every other US distributor says it’s $500+ for front and rear??someone posted this link earlier in the post. That's what I ordered.
ENDLESS SSM PLUS BRAKE PAD FRONT REAR SET FOR TOYOTA GR YARIS GXPA16 (RC WITH 18 INCH WHEELS) GR COROLLA GZEA14H EP558-EP559-SSM-PLUS
Yes, it's front and rear. Received mine last week.Wait, is this both front and rear sets? Every other US distributor says it’s $500+ for front and rear??
Agreed! No reason not to place an order for that price. Only 700 miles on my brakes and I’m already tired of the brake dust.Yep. Same here. Certainly I'd like to support the local small business owner, but not when he's more than double the price of buying online. That's a substantial amount of money.
I got the same info. I ended up getting the ISWEEP brake pads for now and there is zero dust with no noticeable loss of performance street driving. I'll pick up the Endless next time..I've ordered the Endless Super Street M-Sports Plus from Black HawkJapan a week ago and received an email today that states that they are order-made, and that it will take 1.5 months to manufacture them.
Did anyone else received something similar from Black Hawk Japan?
A bit disappointed to hear about the dusting, but it is what it is. I already got a set. Those still looking into Endless, I just threw on some MX72 pads a few weeks ago to prep the GRC for Laguna track days this summer; here's some initial thoughts after break-in:
Moderate increase in performance over OEM. Noticeably more progressive, no weird initial "bite" like you would get with the stock pads. Stopping power is strong even when cold; easier to modulate than OEM when you really start digging in. Dust levels seem comparable to the stock pads as far as I can tell, so for those concerned more about clean rims than performance - there are better options that will compromise between braking performance/dust. I'll just wash my car.
Additionally - I was pleasantly surprised by how quiet the pads are, definitely had more squeaks going on w/ the OEM set. Would recommend for those splitting their time between dailying and occasional track days. Or if you're looking for something a bit more aggressive than stock and wanna feel more WRC by running Endless pads on your car 😉
Hope this info helps out!
Are these the SSM PLUS? How's the dust?Yes, it's front and rear. Received mine last week.
I've had the SSM Plus on my car for a few hundred miles now, and I can definitely say the dust is substantially less than OEM. The OEMs were just so unbelievably bad about dust. This is a huge improvement. Stopping power is still excellent in my opinion.Looking forward to another report on dust levels. I bought EBC Yellow stuff and the pads are decent and dust is lower I believe, but still pretty bad.

I ran EBC Yellows on my FiST with the Whoosh Calipers . Of course now it was Wilwoods with Wilwood pads.Just installed EBC Yellow stuff pads yesterday. Some dust evident following bed-in procedures, but much lower than OEM. Jury is still out on brake feel, because I changed from snow tires to 200 treadwear Summer tires.
I think I paid around $260 for the Yellow Stuff pads. The Endless are about the same price IF you buy from BlackHawkJapan.I ran EBC Yellows on my FiST with the Whoosh Calipers . Of course now it was Wilwoods with Wilwood pads.
I was wondering if they made Yellows for the GRC . Probably less money than Endless. Endless has always been exorbitantly expensive . I am sure it’s better now due to the dollar to Yen . Though EBC’s have always been really reasonably priced.
BlackHawkJapan is the place to go. US distributors are price gouging for absolutely no reason.I think I paid around $260 for the Yellow Stuff pads. The Endless are about the same price IF you buy from BlackHawkJapan.
