Ya there are two dealers in the bay are selling Blue Flames for 50k and 56k respectively . 😂 After much thought I will be quite happy with a Heaby Metal Premiun at MSRP that I have lined up.

You can clearly see the blue stitching on the door panel in the interior pic, and can also barely see the blue stitching on the drivers side seat through the plastic.
Where I dont see any blue stitching is on the steering wheel and the MY24 shift knob is definitely missing, my guess is that it gets installed at port along with the CE wang, rocker stripe decal, and CE plaque.

Got offered a blue flame today for msrp… I have a 23 red core with all 3 packages. What does everyone think, worth the upgrade? I have a pretty good interest rate right now and would probably be higher if I switched. They offered 35k trade in

Personally not feeling the Blue Flame so no. I’d stay with the Red 3 Core. You’re probably burning 10k on the move.

Ya I thought about getting a Blue Flame but the price even at MSRP is a significant amount more than a Premium. In your shoes trading in your Core? That would a 8-10k more expense and at a higher interest rate, Unless you just love throwing cash away and have it to throw I would still say a no.

Some people seem to lose sight of the fact that the key to this car is the fact that you can get it for just over or under 40k . You start jacking up the price and it starts taking away the value for the money factor.
Sure the Blue Flame may be at MSRP but thats a 2k more MSRP than last years Circuit oh and ya you get the color and the Morizo BBS‘s but …..you crest 50k after tax and license.

Same current car, same thing I’m looking for. But looking at things like used Caymans or even how far used CT4 Blackwing prices have fell, I’d much rather have one of those. There’s no doubt the GRC is a special car, but it starts to lose the plot for me after $42k or so.

I got my Core with Performance + Tech packages for $500 under MSRP last December. If my dealer called and said a blue flame was available, I don't know that I could stomach the jump in price for some heated seats and cosmetic upgrades. This car really becomes a questionable value proposition above $45k.

Same car. Same performance is how I see it. If you already have 1 then the only thing you have to gain is the color and other minor updates/upgrades, but you are about to lose alot of value in just 1 year of ownership.

If a red core wasn't your interest, why did you buy it?

Don’t get me wrong, I love my red core. The 10k cost is obvious and just wanted to hear some other opinions. I had a focus RS in nitrous blue and loved the blue. I really like the 10 spoke wheels and alcantera interior but everyone is right. Not worth the 10k. I’ll pass on it and be happy with what I have. I was just kind of surprised that the opportunity even came along for a blue flame circuit at msrp so figured it was at least worth considering. Thanks for everyones input!
