I just finished installing a set of 17x9 +25 Konig Hypergrams on my GRC. Currently wrapped in Conti ExtremeContact Sport 02 in a 275/40R17. The wheel mounts fine and the provided lug nuts from Tire Rack got about 9-10 turns out of them. Otherwise zero rubbing and it all fits perfectly. Yes, I'm aware that I am ultimately giving up steering response over say a 245/255 tire. But for a street car I like having more protection and truthful the 02s provide a comparable immediate response to the 235/40R18 PS4 tires.

Since the image broke, here's a gallery of the fitment.

Those tires are MEATY, love the look! Thanks for testing that for us!

Hey everyone! I know we were a little more active in this thread in the beginning and it looks like we disappeared a bit, but I swear that we've been active. Lurking, but actively so.

That said, we did want to share that we have our 17x8.5" ET23 SM-10RS Forged Wheels in stock and ready to go! While these were originally designed for SCCA Street Class, they're still a great option for those who want a direct-fit 17" wheel option that clears stock brakes.

60° Shank Lug Nuts are required. We're still working on an in-house lug nut solution, but in the meantime we have had success with these particular lug nuts and are recommending them until then: 60° Shank / Extended Thread Lug Nuts

That's all for now!

Are you saying that with the SM-10RS wheels in 17x8.5, I wouldn't need extended lugs and could just buy the lug nuts you linked to there? Do you know how many turns of engagement I would get with that setup?

With the 17x8.5" ET23 SM-10RS you should be able to run extended thread 60° conical lugs and get proper thread engagement without requiring extended studs, yes!

I appreciate the info. I'll have to dust off my IG account to contact him. Do you have all the parts lined up? Any concerns about fitment and alignment post-install?
The parts list never ends. I have given myself a strict budget to slow the modding down. Between my 2 cars, I've spent prob close to $10k in mods I didn't expect. Not running my bill up on affirm or credit cards lol.

Message slottoauto as he's the one literally running 15's on his GRC as seen on his account

There's been a few options out for a while iirc, but I haven't seen anyone on here use them.
yes and no, this option is affordable. I rather not disclose his great product. I can assure you this is more affordable and if not better.

Disclose that he's using the RC brake kit? 😅

Slottauto is a scumbag. He tired to scalp a GR back in early 2023.

I msg him in Feb of this year for his "kit" and he quoted me $1700 I already knew of the RC kit. But the kit in Japan includes e210 knuckles, which his did not. Until he finally posted images of his kit and they were rc parts, not developed by him, developed by Toyota. Yes he was the first to take the time and see what parts fit. But this guy is a crook. I hope no one gives him any more of their hard earned money.
