For that price they better get fancy and add adaptive suspension and other racecar goodies like the intercooler sprayer from the GR Yaris. I do hope whatever they add we can purchase and they're not VIN locked. If this thing is going to sell any where near $65k
So about 306 hp and 304 lb-ft.I knew Best Car covered this thing back in October, but I wasn't aware that they gave power figures and price as well.
Apparently 310PS, 42kg-m, and 8,000,000yen
So, I compared the exchange rates vs what Toyota charges in the US relative to other JP models and that puts the price of the GRMN at $65k.
It’s weird cause I like the fenders but I also like the contrast the current ducts have on the fenders.Yeah, Best Car even rendered that exact car with all the changes too lol. I had them saved for a little bit, but they're out here if anyone is curious.
EDIT:
There we go.

Doubt it will be that many. My guess is 200 just like the Morizo with starting price just shy of $60k.If the GRMN Yaris was $63900, Circuit pack $73900, Rally pack $73100
I'm guessing the GRMN Corolla has to be slightly higher but lower than the GRMN Supra
My calculations for the GRMN Corolla it wil start at 65K limited to 500 units
IT's going to be tough because we are talking Supra territory or BMW M2, price, if they bump Horse Power significantly it will be worth it if not for a collector enthusiast to sell in 10-20 years.
Thats some good insider info. Really not surprised to see that there will be no next gen GRC, which is a good thing for the future value if the car but a bad thing regarding OEM replacement parts...It will most like be 200 units as the special edition GR Yaris posted below which I saw in Tokyo last week is limited to that . This was at GR Garage in Ikebukuro. Priced out at current conversion rate this car is going for $60k U.S. don’t be surprised if the GRMN comes in that price it’s probably what it will be..
He confirmed to me the GRMN Corolla though did not say it was going to be a 4 cylinder that is Best Car speculating which they love to do, Also he confirmed a Celica but was pretty specific it would
not be an AWD. He did indicate MR2. I also get the distinct impression from him that there would not be a new generation GR Corolla beyond the GRMN version. Oh and yes this was someone who works for Toyota Japan.

it will most likely be 200 Units as the Current special edition RZ
Doubt it, will be just like the Morizo edition. Judging by the video you just posted, seems like some Morizo interior bits were being recycled. The forged carbon dash trim is a nice addition. Looks like the G16 still remains, which most of us predicted, but with more TQ (again just like the Morizo when it first appeared in 2023, same HP as standard GRC but with more TQ).Looks like it doesn't have a backseat from watching the end of the video. I'm out.
Manual-only makes perfect sense for a Morizo replacement. However, I’ve been hoping for something more different than the 25’ P+ DAT to trade in my 23’ 6MT for. Perhaps I should keep it if there would be no DAT version of the GRMN.Doubt it, will be just like the Morizo edition. 2025+ GRC has 295ft lbs of TQ standard, so im guessing 310-315ft lbs?
or just get the 25 DAT and swap in whatever parts from GRMN that aren’t VIN-lockedManual-only makes perfect sense for a Morizo replacement. I considered a back seat delete for my '23 Core, like I did for my Abarth, when I first got it. But the back seat is actually usable for humans. And yeah it seems weird to have back doors for no reason. No backseat confirmed -- shame -- Do not see any reason to remove a backseat option from a 4door hatch, but others disagree.
? i don’t see the issue? this isn’t going to be the case with every trim. this is the more dedicated performance trim..No backseat confirmed -- shame -- This was a family car for me, not track, I have others for that, and would probably get a GR86 for track. Do not see any reason to remove a backseat option from a 4door hatch, but others disagree.
Enjoy, for those that get one.
