for whats its worth, I got the cheap aliexpress ones with fans for $23 and its been 7 months and 4k miles and they are still working just like day one.
Same here. local GRC did a group buy here and 19 of us got them. 1 bulb was DOA but the rest have been going strong. 12 of us got them back in December and no issues otherwise. For me, one of the tabs for the connector was super difficult to clip on, but otherwise it's worked great. the fans are noticable but very subtle.

Do you happen to have a link to the aliexpress ones?

Furthermore, regarding the fog lights, they were initially sold in the Asian region for some time without any issues before recently being introduced to the North American market, where there have been a few instances of abnormal behavior within a short period.

While this has left us puzzled, we also recognize its significance. We now understand that the usage demands for fog lights vary across regions. Therefore, we've made a series of adjustments and upgrades to address this situation, ensuring similar issues do not arise in the future.

Additionally, we're seeking 1-2 volunteers to assist us in testing the upgraded fog lights. If you're interested, please leave a comment below.

Thank you for patiently reading the entire text.
Would love to sign up as a tester here as well. Let me know if an additional tester would be helpful. If not, when will the new versions be available?

is there a way to adjust the fog light cut off ?
It would be very difficult to do so cleanly without engineering changes to the lens or "bulb"

I doubt there is room inside the fog light housing for any type of shield, so you would have to do something external. Maybe a piece of black vinyl? IDK if that will hold up to the continuous heat though.

i notice there is a tiny hole on the bottom of the under tray but i can't seem to get anything in there long enough without jacking up the car. all my previous other cars you can adjust the fog even tho you put aftermarket lights in. seems like these new ones are non adjustable or maybe i just need to jack up the car and get the under trays off.

i've thought about using some tape to cover up the top part to create a cut off but would much rather have adjustment.

Reviving this because Diodynamics has teamed up with Foxbeam to make a kit for us!
Anyone got their hands on one yet?
Also wondering the same things. I want to know more about the thermals of it during operation and what the reliability of them are. I've been holding off on picking up a set of aftermarket fog lights because most crap out before a year and the heat emitted from them is too much for my liking

I think diode dynamics make pretty decent products
they are widely used in the offroad scene
Honestly, i wanna try and fit a pair of Baja Design S1s
in the pockets

Looking for updates on these NSLUMO for folks that have been running them for over a year? They are $28 per light on Amazon right now. Anyone got long term reviews?

Bought mine off Amazon Apr of 2024 and installed same month. Still working. Not a lot of hours in the "on" condition but still working. I bought their backup lights same time and they are still working as well.
