I had an old duracon TRD knockoff knob on the shelf from my old MR2, technically it doesn’t but I made it work. It’s heavier than the stock knob but mostly like that it won’t get hot in the summer time
I have the same shift knob - when I tried to put it on it would screw down way too low where I couldn't get the car into reverse due to the lockout.

Were you able to fix this and get it to work? I'd love to have my old TRD duracon shiftknob on my GRC :)

Have a Circuit edition knob by default, but have been trying the following:

1) Core Edition shift knob - light and since my hand is on the smaller size the feel is better for me. The light weight allows for more shift feel, very mechanical in nature.
2) SSCO Delrin Knob ~90g - light weight as well, but heavier than the Core Edition knob -- feels great too
3) SSCO ~500g weighted knob - can't feel the transmission as much but shifting is truly made much easier -- no need to exert any real effort to shift, but just maneuver/finesse the shifter into the desired gear.

Overall, great to have a range of knobs w/ different weights depending on what I want for the drive!

Edit: Also to note, the QC on my SSCO knobs was off, the delrin knob was supposed to weigh in at 55g (mine 90g) and the weighted knob 610g (mine 498g). I am going to be returning them and hopefully re-ordering to get ones with more accurate weighting.

I actually took a motorcycle battery terminal bolt, set it upside down on the top of the shifter shaft (threads facing up) and tightened the knob down. I screwed it all the way down then backed it off until the reverse lockout would release. Been there now 6k miles without an issue

I did try to leave the gap and noticed the shift knob itself was extremely loose, as in it I would accidentally unscrew it while driving. Did this happen to you?

Hi may i know where to get the 23 ce shiftknob online in the us ?
I want to ask a friend of mine there to get it for my
For my GR yaris overseas
Thank you
They can simply order from any dealership PTR57-12220-02 either in person or search for your friend's closest toyota dealership and see if they have an online store.

Is there any online store of something? and how much is the retail price ?
There are plenty of options. Literally go look up your friend's address, look for the closest toyota dealership, then go on that dealership's website and see if they have an online store then punch in the part number. If you attempted to do what I said in my previous post, you'd have your answers...

Has anyone here installed the Likewise RLX lockout and then had issues with any knob, even the OEM knob, installing with the gears facing upside-down?

It seems like trying to turn either knob anymore would be forcing them too much? But if I rotate them to loosen to the right orientation, then they are too loose.

For the time-being I added a nylon spacer to "fix" it but it's not ideal.

Only advice I can you is, add a small dab of blue loctite onto your shifter threads, then right away go ahead and screw your shift knob of choice, and leave it at the proper orientation. Let it sit overnight. It "should" hold tight and not move.

adjust the allen screw on top of the likewise shifter until you get the right orientation of the shift knob
