I still haven't gotten it to show tach and gear.
Figured out the tach but no gear info as of yet.

LDW and LCA have to be off and cruise control has to be switched to normal vs ACC. It will not show in Eco mode period.

Such a good car and actually really like the interior on the Premium Plus. Also added some ambient lighting today.

Really feel like the CE wing is necessary for the car. Mine feels a bit naked without it.
it looks like ass without it IMO; I didn't option mine with it, but I have it sitting next to me waiting to install post PPF.

From a Red 2010 Corolla LE to a 2025 Heavy Metal GR Corolla Premium Plus DAT. Dealer even had the windows tinted free of charge as a bonus. What a time to be alive.

It appears that the 2025 GRC has Engine Sound Enhancement when in Sport Mode. There is a distinct difference in tone and volume of engine sound when in Sport and the other modes. I tried setting the Custom mode to sport and the sound stays the same as when in Normal Mode, so the ESE appears to be be unrelated to the individual settings and only activated in Sport Mode.

Also, when in ECO mode, there is a distinct change in tone and volume at idle and a click from the rear indicating that the exhaust valve is closing.

Can confirm this too. Posted that image to the FB group a couple of days ago.

Overall I'm not a fan of ESE but i will say....out of every car I've been in that pumps in engine harmonics....it doesn't sound half bad in the GRC. The 86 sounds god awful in comparison to that ESE.
As a former owner of the GR86 and A90, yes both of those have AWFUL ESE; it was loud and artificial in both of those. I was telling @spike021 that I haven't even noticed the ESE in this car, which may be more because I've been keeping it to 5k max as much as possible, but in the other two it was super evident the 1st time I even drove them, even at lower rpm lol.

As mentioned in that boomy exhaust thread, you can switch to Eco mode in ACC power mode before starting the car if you want a raspier but quieter cold start.

Yeah anyone who has been in a 23/24 for a decent amount of time then hops in a 25 with sport mode on, will immediately notice it. Lol. It again isn't the worst sounding ESE but gonna turn it off with carista anyways.

He's the only one I've seen that's noticed it on YouTube. Which honestly means they have blended it in well imo. @ 19:35 he notices it.

Is ESE pumping in fake speaker sound or is it the middle valve staying open?
