Wrecked GRC Thread

So basically it was a two lane mountain pass, I was going straight and the girl that hit me was coming from the cross street, she had a stop I did not. I saw her "look" both ways so I thought she saw me so I kept going but as I approached, she accelerated. I tried to swerve left to avoid but she still clipped my fender pushing me up the hill side.

Godspeed on the healing man. Get an attorney and go after her insurance carrier, big time. It’s not like these cars are easy to acquire or quick to acquire. This is one instance you can use ADM to your advantage.

Glad you're okay. Hope you didn't sustain any serious injury.

Keep us posted on how insurance goes. I think we're all curious how insurance companies will handle it.

Yup, that's the plan, as soon as the initial dealings and swapping of info was done, I hired an attorney.

Luckily the selling dealer installed a camera so I do have footage.

I'm sure the engine is good the damage didn't seem to penetrate that far in. Both curtain airbags did deploy due to that angle I ended up at so I'm sure it's gonna be totaled.

Luckily the selling dealer installed a camera so I do have footage.

I'm sure the engine is good the damage didn't seem to penetrate that far in. Both curtain airbags did deploy due to that angle I ended up at so I'm sure it's gonna be totaled.

I can totally see that happening. Just yesterday alone I had over 10 people I know from my friend's list of FB that were asking the same exact thing. They want the engine, one wanted the wheels/tires. I denied all of them because most didn't even ask if I was ok, all they cared about was getting parts off the darn thing. Needless to say they are no longer on the friend's list.

With all of that said, how are you feeling now a day later? I know a good night's sleep and some ibuprofen goes a long way. 😊

I still feel sore all along my left side but no pain thanks to the Ibu I got yesterday. I got the dash cam footage extracted from the camera too and re-watching it just solidified that it was 100% the other person's fault. I even saw the interior 360 degree view and I did get thrown around a bit which explains the injuries

From the standpoint of safety, how did the car react to the accident? Do you think it helped protect you from serious injury?
