I was looking into this a coupe of weeks ago, but it’s a relatively new product from them so I didn’t come across anything. Then I looked into reviews for their other products and it seemed generally mixed; some good, some bad.

However, I also noticed that over vendors are using the same stock photos for other “VRS Style” hoods, so my thoughts are that they maybe they are not producing them in house and sourcing them from an third party.

Given the high price of the item(which they recently raised by $200) and my intent to paint the hood (adding to the overall investment), I ultimately decided to purchase an unused Varis Hood from FB marketplace.

The reputation (and JDM steez) of Varis was worth the extra cost to me.

 

I wish I knew something about the quality and fit of this piece. I really like the design of it compared to a lot of other hoods I've seen, although the pictures on their website are pretty horrible. I was also thinking to get the hood either painted or wrapped to match my car, except for maybe a few strategic areas of carbon poking through. I wish there was some way I could see one of these on a car in person.

I have their lip kit and really like it. Very tempted to get this "knockoff" varis hood but yeah, its all pricey especially after painting most of it.

 

How's the fit? Edges straight? No waves in the surface? Quality appearance?
