I also have this concern which has resulted in indecision regarding a pitch mount. I have anecdotally heard of GR Yaris owners upgrading all mounts but haven’t been successful in finding discussions and details about this in the GRY forums.

it’s not so much as a engine mount as a torque brace. Your engine has a mount on the right side and one on the transmission on the left these are the primary support mounts for your engine. The Pitch is called a pmount because your engine TQ’s under power and the Pitch mount controls the amount .
So stiffening it up some will not adversely affect the other two.

This is a common mod in a lot of transverse mount engine cars. In the FiST world every one did their version of the pitch mount called the RMM because it was notoriously weak to the point of engine slamming against the firewall sound under hard shifts.
Though also the passenger side engine mount on that car was also really weak so most replaced it as well. In our cars the passenger side mount seems to be pretty beefy and not prone to the issues that the FiST had. If one wants to upgrade the other mounts they can be a lot of us have been running some form of after market pitch mount and not felt it necessary to upgrade the engine mounts.

I agree, it wouldn't disproportionately stress the other mounts. In addition to what driftfreaq said, another analogy would be kind of like a pig on a spit. The torque mount at the bottom doesn't really support any weight, which is why it can be replaced so easily without having to lift/suspend the engine. It just counteracts the torque of the transverse drivetrain, like placing your hand on the pig to prevent it from rotating.

yeah, it essentially just removes the torsional stress from the other two mounts. so IMO, if anything it will prolong the life of the other mounts and you still get the benefit of them keeping NVH to a minimum at idle etc.

I have debated on doing the Powerflex motor mount inserts, but some in the UK that did that said the vibrations were horrible, but that was with the black inserts. The yellows seemed to be okay, but "okay" is highly relative lol.

DeltaX Gang reporting in! While you’ll read posts of people switching from Cusco most often, I’ve seen people reporting having switched out of just about all of the mounts — except DeltaX. @CHEEKY GR-E210 gives you your choice of two densities of bushing, so you get to really dial in your experience. Those that found 80 too firm can dial back to 70, similarly down to 60. Unbelievable customer experience, too!

Buy once and forget about it! DeltaX all day!
I installed the Delta-X pitch mount yesterday on my 2025 P+.
I wrapped both surfaces with about three layers of teflon tape. Tried more, but then it bunched, and the bushing did not fully seat, so about three seems to be the ticket.
I got the 70 hardness.
Zero NVH.
Feels way more solid and shifts feel awesome.
When the engine is not rocking, don't bother knocking!

Because I feel no vibration beyond the factory with 2,700 miles on it, I will order a set of 80 hardness. I mean it's like night and day now, but I will autocross the car, so................

Does anyone have any experience yet with the Verus pitch stop mount vs Racer X or Delta X units? Gonna have to make a decision soon and I cannot for the life of me find any reviews on the Verus parts

Thanks

Exactly. Reducing the rocking of the engine will put less stress on the engine mounts.

What surfaces are you referring to?
