On this topic, the Megachip splash guards come with one package of adhesion promoter, but they say that you only need it if you are installing in temps below 65°. Do these panel protectors say anything similar, or are you supposed to use it no matter the temp you are installing at?

I didn’t use the promoter at all and mine seem fine. Did it with under 51 degrees.
just used my heat gun around the edges and pushed firmly.
everything’s in Japanese.

I am yes.
If I can find the instructions when I get home I’ll translate them to see if they say anything about actually needing to use the promoter.

Considering my rear dash cam kept falling off eventually without the use of adhesion promoter, I would suggest using it.

I don't recall anything in the instructions saying to use it with certain temperatures only. But then again, I was using Google translate to read everything. LOL.

I just didn't want it peeling off in case I do accidentally kick it. Would be a PITA to remove the factory adhesive from it, apply some new one, and redo everything after.
