Anyone go with a larger tire size than the stock size?

Are you talking larger height, larger sidewall, or wider?
Yes many have, search around for what you're looking for, some here might be able to help direct you to specific threads. But it's safe to say the wheel wells have room to work with.

Going up in size a little bit (245 or 255/40-R18) can correct the speedo to be more accurate to GPS speeds, and gain a slight bit of width. Some have gone with taller sidewall for ride quality in rough areas. Also downsizing to 17" wheels can gain even more sidewall. Check the 17" wheel thread for confirmed fitment over the brakes.

Some have gone much wider, 275/35-R18 I think is the widest I've seen on OE wheels. This can cause some sidewall bulge which looks meaty, but can make the handling feel a little soft since the tire carcass can move and squish a little more. I think some have gone up to 10" wide wheels.

Thanks. I was thinking of bumping it up to something like 255/40-R18........I'm not on OE wheels so just to filling the gaps a little more.

Ah OK those will be fine. If you wanted to, you could run those with 15/25mm spacers on fatter 255s and you should still clear just fine. That'll bring them much closer to the fender and will fit the body lines nicely and it'll transform the look of the car.

You could use 20/30mm spacers, since these Konigs have an additional 5mm offset, but the tread width of 255s make them effectively wider by more than the 5mm difference, so they might rub in certain conditions.
Thanks, appreciate that.
