Here are some initial renders. I am going to get a rapid prototype made and do some back to back dyno runs vs OEM as well as street driving with a 4 point thermocouple datalogger to compare temperatures between the two intakes.
We will also be using our EK1 Lite for datalogging fuel trims to make sure MAF tube is appropriately sized with appropriate sensor placement.
Our EK1 Lite is our "Cobb AccessPort" that we will be integrating GRC and GRY to flash tunes via OBD like Cobb and store tunes with full OBD datalogging and CEL clearing.
Should be fun and we'll keep everyone updated on what happens.
Target MSRP is less than $400. It will be an oiled filter, XLPE parts and retain all OEM mounting locations.
There will even be a spot to cleanly mount the airbox flap solenoid.
