My engine block has a Meister badge as opposed to the Shimoyama badge, I can’t find much info on the differences. Anyone know?

look at Driver's side door jab jamb sticker, has information on production dateI'm curious now too, is there an easy place to find the production date?
Better yet, engine production date? Early '24s might still have engines made late in the '23 production schedule.
Label on the driver side B-pillar, by the door latch striker.I'm curious now too, is there an easy place to find the production date?

The engine production date is stamped in ink on the engine a couple of inches to the right of the Shimoyama/Meister badge. The production date for the vehicle is in the doorjamb.I'm curious now too, is there an easy place to find the production date?

Because who says "I want a 2nd edition Charizard"It looks like a Clan Rivalry has been born.
The GR Master Clan vs The GR Yoshinoya Clan
Shimoyama = 1st edition CharizardBecause who says "I want a 2nd edition Charizard"
Perfect analogy. I'm just being salty over something we know nothing about yet!Shimoyama = 1st edition Charizard
Meister = blue flame 'shiny' Charizard
It does on the official Toyota EPC
It is now the emblem for all GRC's with build dates Feb 2024 onwards.
Shimoyama emblem (18030) has ended Jan 2024.

Was planning on trading in my 23 circuit for a 24 circuit, NOT ANYMORE.Dudes. Did we not already ascertain that there was a production change effective 02/24? It's right there in the Toyota parts catalog. I have no idea why they changed the badge, but it was clearly done across the board.
Dammit!! Way too many characters for a license plate! 😤#SHIMOYAMA4life.
The legend is called GRMN not GRSN for a reason. Was planning on trading in my 23 circuit for a 24 circuit, NOT ANYMORE.
I will NEVER join team meister, #SHIMOYAMA4life.

Maybe it’s a ‘24 thing.

It's February 2024 production onwards. It not a '24 thing. It's specifically Shimoyama until Jan 2024 regardless of year, and it's Meister Feb 2024 onwards. With time zone difference, some Jan 31st cars are actually Feb 1st, so to be even more specific...here's the exact VIN (last 5 digits) changeover.
Should be the last cars with Shimoyama badge:
#11273 USA
#11275 Canada
Should be the first cars with Meister badge:
#11274 USA
#11284 Canada
