I drove my buddy's F87 M2 Competition through some mountain roads, and it hid its weight very well. The new G87 coming in at 3800 lbs still concerns me, but I can't comfortably afford one anyway.

Mazda hit it out of the park with the ND.

If I lived in a convertible-friendly climate, I would have kept my ND2. Part of why I sold my GR86 is because I kept comparing the two in my head and the Miata was just a better sports car.

I think I'd rather have a RWD M240i, personally. The B58 would make the right amount of power for a 3600lb car, and after 9 manuals, I'm fine being a filthy casual with the ZF 8HP automatic.

Would prefer a RWD M240i or Supra, but my inner meme lord wants to get a Zandvoort Blue M2 and swap the M badges for Hyundai N badges.
