The car looks so much better with the painted caps! I have a couple aerosol cans of Heavy Metal and 2K clear on the way. Did you prime/basecoat with black or gray? Whatever you did, looks like a good match.
Primed with a flat white. Wanted to use something that was lighter than base coat so I would get better paint coverage. Did 3 coats of primer, 4 coats of base, and 3 coats of clear.

nice! That combo looks great! I’ve been eyeballing those Enkei wheels/DWS 06 plus combo. But in gloss black. Love the simplicity of the wheels 🤌
Thanks!

I love them, been getting lots of complements. I was on the fence between black and the bronze. I'm really glad I went with the bronze. The factory gloss wheels get dirty so quick from brake dust and with all the spokes they're annoying to clean. These look better when they get dirty.

This is after a 450 mile trip for Thanksgiving + ~200 miles of commuting- haven't had a chance to wash the car or clean the wheels since the drive. Still look good dirty. The factory wheels end up looking dirty matte black pretty quick.

you’re not kidding about cleaning the OE wheels. 15 spokes is a bit much. 6 I can handle! plus, I just love the design!

Thanks!

Might be in the minority here but I think I’m digging the HM premium slightly more than the HM circuit.
I do like the wheels, and the roof is cool, hood I can go either way. But the CE price with taxes and tags, it put my payment higher than I’d like, BUT I like the 2023 CE interior with the red stitching. There isn’t much about the 2024 CE that I like over the premium though.

Did you need extended studs to fit the wheel?
Nope 18x8.5 is the oem size. Left the stock spacers, studs, and everything.

Those wheels came with centering rings pre-installed and lugnuts that use a specific (included) socket. Wouldn't be able to use the OEM nuts with those wheels.

@RightHandPhoto The need for extended studs isn't triggered by wheel size (diameter, width, or any other similar measurement). The longer studs may be necessary to allow sufficient thread engagement with typical non-OEM lug nuts, because the OEM lug nuts have an extended shank that is designed to thread deeper into the oversized lug holes on the OEM wheels.

Aftermarket wheels generally don't have oversized lug holes and so they can't use extended shank lugs.
