Ehh I love the dark mode theme. Dark mode saves cellphone battery and easier on the eyes. This new dark mode is neat but it makes it even harder to tell which alerts are new. Having to count each time is a bit annoying.
That’s what’s the maintenance thread was supposed to beCan we get a Parts Number database? Maybe a google doc? People are dropping these useful part numbers in random threads and it’s hard to go back and find them
I know what you mean, I think this forum is formatted in a simple way so we tried to add a BS thread for anything really. Other then that I’m not sure. Not sure if the forum can support it but some forums at the very top of the forums there is a chat room like a 2 or 3 inch long chat room floating there. Not sure if that's needed or wanted though here?
People usually shoot the shit in said mini chat rooms or answer quick technical questions usually in them.
As stated on another thread I was just organizing some things. Sometimes it’s easier for me to comb through and move comments around when I freeze a thread for a bit. Sometimes I forget and it’s still closed so just remind me or any other mod.As far as the layout, I think the forum is pretty tidy.
But one thing that bugs me is the sheer amount of threads closed for no apparent reason. Here's a recent one in particular.

It indeed does look like it he just pulled the e-brake. Doesn't look like it's spinning at it's center. Looks like it's spinning at the front wheels. Comments are also off on his YT video (posted on the review thread). Driver mod, lol... Buddies of mine did that in the RSX-S, back when it was...www.grcorollaforum.com
The last comment was on topic and insightful, there was no fighting. Wtf? I actually enjoy reading through people's thoughts on the car for my own information.
One of my earlier threads was closed. There were some heated discussions in it. But all closing the thread achieved was the argument moves elsewhere. We have and will continue to beat the same horse until a majority of us actually own these cars and have other things to worry about. It's just the stage we are in of the infancy of this car and the climate that's creating these highly debatable purchasing issues.
Okay, understandable. As stated on another thread I was just organizing some things. Sometimes it’s easier for me to comb through and move comments around when I freeze a thread for a bit. Sometimes I forget and it’s still closed so just remind me or any other mod.
Yeah we’re getting to that. There’s a lot that needs to be added. While the Marketplace is bare, are we able to create subsections for it for each type of part? E.g. Vehicles only, Engine/exhaust, suspension, wheels, cosmetics (interior/exterior), etc.?
When/if the car becomes widely available and mainstream, it may make it much easier to be able to separate the items by subsection when searching rather than going through 20 pages of random items that have nothing to do with what you're looking for.
I’ll talk to them, if it’s not up add to Vendor deals until we figure it out.@Jeonsa add a coupons section. I am working with some companies to get us group discounts at the moment. Right now the rag company. Possibly megan racing as well
Discord servers are nice for casual back and forth but they're not indexed, eg. you can't Google search an issue and see a result from a discord chat. It's sort of the same problem I have with Facebook groups. In ~10 years when people pick these cars up on the used market and are trying to figure out quirks and issues, you could (probably) view this forum and find the answer, without registering for the website. I can't say the same about FB/Discord. Forums not only serve as a venue for discussion but as a publicly accessible repository of information gathered by the people posting there.how about a discord server?
