Ok, so here we go!

While in the midst of printing out some final prototypes (which came out probably as good as consumer-level 3D printing will be able to muster), I had a neat idea, so I printed out another prototype, using the GR colors on the sides. Unfortunately, 2 out of the 3 backs I printed came out with some weird flaws (haven't even begun looking into it yet), but I personally love it!

This one is what I expect for the quality of the finished product to be. I would like for them to be absolutely perfect, but the world of 3D printing right now just isn't going to allow that. That said, it's not far off.

I took the print, assembled it with temporary screws, wet-sanded it with 1000 and then 2000 grit to get the bulk of any remaining markings off, etc. It feels super smooth. I also managed to get some button prints to come out pretty much perfect.

Without further ado, here's my new key! I'll go through the DMs I have later and see what everyone's preferences are as far as color...

Yeah, it's definitely cleaner with the black edges. I'll get one of those sanded up and take some pics over the weekend!

Finally back to printing! 15 backs ready for finish work, buttons are printing now, should be able to start printing the fronts tomorrow morning. The fronts and backs are multi-day prints for a full plate of them, between the extremely high resolution, small nozzle, 100% infill (so solid, rather than only 15% which is the default), and the print patterns I'm using for overall quality.

Once I have keys ready to go, I'll post more pictures, reach out to everyone who PM'ed me, and then setup a for sale thread for any leftovers.

If demand warrants another batch, I'm more than happy to print more. Also, if you have any custom requests, feel free to reach out to me, and I'll let you know if it's feasible or not!

Buttons! Haven't gone through and sorted/QA'd them yet, but as you can see, I printed a ton of them. Fronts are printing now, only 1 day, 16 hours left! So... ~6am ET on Thursday!

Fronts are finally finished! Later today I'll be assembling, sanding, then disassembling, and putting together kits with fresh screws, allen wrenches, and the finished parts. Hopefully I'll be ready to start shipping keys this weekend!
