Sorry but what does "With the long light tubes they wont be others uses LED strips" mean? With the long light tubes (I'm guessing you are talking about the boomerang tubes?), they won't be other uses (what uses?) LED strips (?). I don't understand.
With the long light tubes they wont be as bright as other cars that use LED strips. Simialr to how the early BMW Halo lights look. I'll edit my post.

I could be wrong but I think the 18+ STI use an LED strip to light up the "C" light for DRL. I don't think it's as nice as aftermarket that has a denser LED strip and a coating to help diffuse the LED's for a more seamless look.

In theory, if someone wanted it like OEM, would the 3 White: ACC (start line) be tapped/connected to the DRL fuse/wiring? Else it would be on anytime the car would be on?
You can wire them however you want. Since I knew which was a switched fuse and I want them on all the time that's how I decided to set it up. This way I don't have to switch my parking lights on to have them active. If I want to turn them off I can just go to the app and power them down.

So I tapped into my fuse box inside of the engine bay to the Horn 10A and the cabin fusebox with the same USB 7.5A fuses and now my radiator fan doesn’t turn on. Anyway i could troubleshoot it?

you are running power from both locations? I checked the horn fuse with a volt meter and its constant 12v

Yes, i did some troubleshooting and my fan fuse is fine and even without the drls hooked up the radiator fan doesnt work anymore after i wired the rgb drls… I wonder what the issue is

I'm just wondering why you are running power to a constant 12v source. I would disconnect power and ground and test your fan again.

I am planning to install these soon, how would I go about wiring them so that they function the same as the OEM lights? I am not looking to have them on all the time and just wanted the normal functionality with the ability to change the colour.

From what I understand yes you can do that. You would hook up the power wire from the ice board to the toyota drl power circuit.

Since yours is car is from the Australian market I don't how the DRL's are supposed to function from the factory. If you want them on when the headlights are on then just prob around with a volt meter and find a circuit that would work. You can also install a hard wire switch and then turn them on whenever you would like. I prefer to have them on all the time so I don't need to run parking lights.

I think that here you can have just the D lights on with the parking light switch. Is there any way of achieving this without splicing into a cable that goes into the headlights though? Eg. a fuse or something.
My ice driver kit only has two wires coming from the bluetooth controller, ground and power, there is no signal wire like in the diagram, was yours the same?

That's the same way mine was I have the lights powered by a switched fuse. When the car is powered on to accessory then the lights come on. I just posted a picture of the instructions that came with the kit. There was a wire that was looped maybe that is the 3rd signal as in the instructions. Maybe you can cut that and add it to a different 12v signal if it doesn't work then just connect them together.

Out of curiosity when do you want theses to turn on?

What happens if your parking mode isn't switched on? eg. it's in automatic mode? Are they on too?
I just want them to function the same as factory spec.

for mine when i start the car or accessory then it starts on its own. Its all how you wire them. If you want them on with the parking lights then find that circuit and tap into that wire. I am not sure how the AUDM headlights work.

Ice Driver RGB boards

Here is a quick video and what I have found to be the "problems" this round are
  1. UPDATE: now that it is wired to the car the hazards works correctly.
When the hazards are on the drivers side DRL (only tested white) stays on and give it a peach look. This is not a deal breaker for me but could be for others. Though as a turn signal it acts like a switchback.

  2. Colors are much more even and brightness tough no good orange color (I don't mind since I'll mostly stick to white)

  3. This could be me but the plastic clips on of mine broke but highly doubtful it will cause a major issue. If it does then you just wont have a front turn signal and amber reflector running light. I should have just add a tiny bit of hot glue to hold it in place.
Those are the problems I found so far with the little testing I had done. I will let the seller know but for me I am happy with these.
The car is not my daily so I won't be able to give a longevity test.

It is controlled by an app and built in Bluetooth module in the wiring harness.

There module has a memory and remembers the last setting. (still a little finicky)

The new boards use thermal tape instead of paste though they included it in the first kit.

The install was very simple no permanent modification to the headlights. Most difficult part is really removing the bumper.

You can tap into the engine bay fuse box but I did not like the fuse tap placement and didn't want to mess with those fuses . Better to use the hood grommet but will do that when I get my new wheels since it is is pain to get to without moving the fender liner. Instead I fished it around the door.

I will update this thread with answers to questions form the comments and will like the comment so you will get an update.

For problem 1, I have this same problem. The DRL stays on when the blinker is on. How did you fix this? I see you said you wired it to the car. I wired it to the car too.

I don't fully remember since it is not happening after completing the install. I am guessing it might have been to me using an external power supply the car DRL's during testing.
