The dash color matching stitching kinda pisses me of.... I mean why orange? Why couldnt it be red??
Is the orange stitching a hint that maybe the 2025 exclusive GRC color will be some shade of orange? 🤔
They better not reuse the orange from the GR86 special edition... then again I'm not a fan of orange.

What sucks is that certain european corolla models have the red stitching on the dash... If only i could find that part number...

Circuit Edition doesn't even have any blue stitching on the dash, and it is the most expensive trim sold today. And now we find out Corolla sedan not-Nightshade gets colored stitching there.

23' CE didnt have red stitching on the dash to match either. 🤷🏻

Toyota pressroom officially announced 2025 Corolla Hatchback and Sedan as carryover with very few changes. One thing to note is that Sedan FX Special Edition includes a 10.5" Audio display.
While our GRC platform mainly based on Hatchback(no large audio screen) there is a small chance we will get the larger audio from Sedan variant when they announce 2025 GR Corolla....

"Inside the Corolla FX are Moonstone sport fabric seats with orange stitching and the Corolla debut of the 10.5-inch Toyota Audio Multimedia screen. This 10.5-inch screen will be standard in the Corolla FX but available on other 2025 Corolla models"
I was reading the press release and found the second sentence to basically confirm that this screen WILL be available on the GR in 2025:

Due to it saying: "...but available on other 2025 Corolla models" I'm suspecting that it will definitely be plug and play. I stand by my previous comment stating that I'm sure it'll plug straight into our GRs.

Would anyone else rather keep the knob and go with an even smaller screen? I can't stand how big/how far over the dash and in the view of the windscreen the current display is.

I hate it at nights with no easy way to turn it off aside from going out of android auto, into toyota settings, then display settings. I wish the stupid thing just folded up into the dash. I don't want to lose driver profiles but it's annoying enough I am considering removing it for a standard sized DIN unit
I have my seat as low as I can go and I’m only 5’8”. The screen is still below the bottom of the windscreen. I must sit more upright than you.

I do occasionally turn the screen off at night.

Excellent analysis there. My arms are long, I've got the wingspan of someone who is 6'1" 🤣

I think what exaggerates it is the rearview mirror directly above it creating a choke point.

After getting more familiar with the car I've realized it's not so much the screen it self, but a bloom effect I was getting when driving at night. With the screen off it is much better.

I wish there was a shortcut to go screen off. TBH, I don't really need it with the digital gage cluster since I can see the nav and audio in it.
