Damn that’s ALOT of OT! Hell yeah do it, treat yourself 👍🏽. I been trying to buy something monthly, nothing over the top but a few hundred $200-$400 if it’s more expensive I wait a little longer. Just pulled the trigger on the Beat Sonic AMP 😊
This is the beginning…….another month it’ll be 30-40 in a week. Gotta get it while I can. Got a few more good years in me. Hahahaaaaa! I’m not making big purchases anymore so it’ll be a piece at a time.

Here’s my pro tips when installing this intake.

If you’re installing the inlet adapter, do yourself a favor and remove the engine cowl. It will make your life a lot easier and it only take a few minutes. There is virtually no room to work with as you can see from the photo I took. I had it removed anyway because I was installing coilovers at the same time.

Lastly, I didn’t like the tension that was put on the vacuum line in step 12 in the instructions. To be on the safe side I used a 90-degree 4mm brass fitting and a 4mm ID high temp silicone vacuum hose. I don’t know if anyone else experienced this or whether it bothered anyone else, but it didn’t sit well with me.

Thanks for the tips, I have the intake and inlet I haven’t installed yet.

I just installed the Upper air box, hard pipe, blow off valve and snorkel (yes, it doesn't fit right or sit well. Not for my 2023 GR Corolla CE. Unfortunately, I have a CEL code. It says that there's a loss of power, also the secondary brake system doesn't work and to check with my dealer. I followed the instruction step by step. I checked everything but something is wrong. Sorry I've just finished, and it's taken me like 3 weekends to do all this at one time. Just for it to not work. Feeling a bit defeated at the moment. I'm not sure how to fix it. I was following all the instructions from Forge and watching videos on it.

Sounds like something is disconnected. Did this happen immediately after you started the car? Double check the MAF connector. Unseat it and plug it back in making sure it clicks into place. Double check vacuum lines. Finally, remove the negative battery terminal, wait a minute, and put it back. Let me know how you make out.

I had the same problem (reinstalled the same parts 6x 💀). The picture instructions for the vacuum lines connected to the solenoid on the blow off valve pdf is wrong. Follow the diagram for the lines shown in the same pdf not the pictures. The only issues I had with the forge system were for the BOV. I haven’t experienced anything wrong with the turbo inlet or air intake. Hope this helps

I checked to see if anything was disconnected. Everything was fine. I really took my time and tied things down and zip tied it all really well.

I'm going to double check the MAF connector tonight (after work)

If that doesn't work, I'll do the negative battery terminal thing.

Will report back soon.

This is the diagram I was talking about: View attachment 24062
I sent an email out to Forge USA a while ago to see if they can fix the instructions, but I’m not sure if that’s happened yet.
wait...is this incorrect? Did I miss your post about this? Because this is what I did and it was the instructions on the website!

I'll check the messages in this forum again really quickly....brb

update: I see. This diagram IS correct and the picture was wrong. I did follow this diagram and it was done exactly like this.

Oh, I see it now. I didn't see this message. Apologies. But yeah, I followed the diagram exactly. It all made sense to me when I put it all together. The pictures show something else, but I followed the diagram you posted below.

OMG....I double checked the MAF and it was fine. I unplugged it and plugged it back in. All seemed well. But then I took the negative terminal out...waited a minute...then put it back. When I started the car...just the normal warning about temperatures came on (this one always happens) So all the warnings went away.

So basically, when I was working on the car, I should have removed the connection to the battery. Also, it sounded like my car needed a hard reset to understand the new settings. 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

So I could have saved so much time and worry, but literally "turning it off and on again; hard reset" - I feel like an idiot. Thank you @G16EGTS. I was feeling like crap today and beating myself up on what I did wrong to the car.

Sweet! Glad it worked out.

After all the parts (Jose's and stuff) aren't they the same?
Meh, not sure. I thought the Eventuri stuff was $1500+ I understand it performs well, but some of us don't need/want carbon fibre when another material could be used to make a product cheaper. Parts for the GRC are not quite as stupidly priced as they are for a C8, but they're getting there.

You are talking about the air inlet part that goes into the bottom of the airbox, when you are referring to the snorkel piece? I installed the upper airbox and no fitment issues. but yes that other part, the air inlet, It fits terribly. I ended up zip tying the bracket to try to make it more secure, as the one push pin deal doesn't cut it. Also, the foam was a weak point, seems like it did not hold up bc the inlet tube doesn't fit the greatest. This created squeaks after 3 weeks or so. Also, vacuum line rubs on it which also makes squeaks.

I am glad I am not the only one, and now I know it is sort of just like that. I did end up getting some weatherstrip foam stuff, and resealed the part that goes into the airbox, looks ok....Then I also put a small piece of the foam to prevent the vaccuum line from rubbing and squeaking, so not the greatest. Would I do it again, yes lol. I like the sounds, the look, and the performance gains. So far it has been one day and no squeaks....
