When I'm literally the only car coming, and someone feels the need to pull right out in front of me and speed up slowly rather than waiting for me to pass. Happens to me weekly and makes my blood boil.

People who speed up to try and prevent another driver from changing lanes into space in front of them. I mean why speed up to do this? You were already going slow with a large enough gap in front just moments before and it didn’t bother you then…

Sometimes the block works, then the blocking car feeling satisfied goes back to slowing down. SMH

Other times it doesn’t work and the car gets into the lane. The car that tried to block then starts tailgating and maybe even throws in a finger or horn blasts for good measure. 🤦‍♂️

Also forgot to mention those drivers out there that never learned to utilize off-throttle deceleration. They go from on the gas pedal immediately to on the brake in every situation.

I feel like most accidents I've encountered are caused by braking or slowing down of some sort. How many near misses have there been because some dude slams the brake at the last second.

Also doesn't help when it's a huge vehicle with dark tint so you can't see the traffic ahead of him.

Do you have any idea how many Nissan Rogues I see like this? The DRLs really aren't bright but they'll cast enough of a glow in front of the car, sort of to the intensity of halogen fog lights. But they'll be doing 70 on the highway like this, and their entire back end is blacked out.

Not going fast in the fast lane and tailgating.

Now I have a Valentine Radar in a minivan (LOL I know), so I’m usually holding it down and a very good clip (especially on road trips). I usually get the people trying to keep up, racing to get in front of me, to basically slow me down, or who try to tail me but want to be right in my bumper.

Even when I’m in the right lane, I’ll have someone tailgating me, which I get that they think if a police car shows up, I’m the first one tagged. Unfortunately for those people many times I’ve slowed down and watched them fly by not know I have a signal saying in 100 yards there is a radar going off. 🤣

Yup, people who have to cut in front of you even when theres 100 yards of open space behind you and then change into the next lane or take the offramp.
Spazztic lane changers in morning traffic kinda amuse me. They'll do 10 lane changes and end up up two cars ahead.
One of the worst is intersection blockers. Theres a intersection here thats terrible for that. Almost everycycle people on the cross traffic enter the intersection when not clear, the light changes, and it f's up the traffic because every cycle someone does this and it builds to the point where it backs up onto the freeway off ramp. When its really bad I've been stuck at the froont of intersectiion for 3 cycles not able to go through. Occasionally the cops will set up camp and ticket, and when they do traffic flows so nice in all directions.

My daily is electric. It’s certainly not fast but it actually has torque. It’s quick at street speeds. I cannot count how many times people would do this exact situation. Hammer past me, get in my lane, then jam the brakes…hard. So now I anticipate it. I’ll speed up and risk the ticket (I run V1’s in everything I ride/drive), I mean full throttle. They are always real surprised because the car doesn’t look it, but she has it where it counts They get frustrated, and eventually have to brake, and get behind me.

That narcissistic driving is mind blowing. Their entitlement to speed past you, move into your lane ahead of you and then hammer the brakes, forcing you to do the same, is massive a hole turf. I don’t retaliate when they do it but like Travolta said in Pulp Fiction “I’d give anything just to catch them doing it”.

The obsession in MN and WI with the left lane. Like, after you merge in, just jack the wheel and go for the left lane, because otherwise you're worth even less as a human being. Or something.

And merging onto the freeway at like 40-45. Gentle acceleration. Get onto the freeway, and then observe all traffic conditions. Measure the wind direction and velocity. Calculate air density. THEN STOMP ON IT TO GET UP TO SPEED AFTER YOU'VE UNNECESSARILY SLOWED EVERYONE DOWN BECAUSE THAT LEFTMOST PEDAL WASN'T THERE 6 SECONDS AGO.
And then the fling over to the left lane where they'll observe the speed limit or go 5 under because you gotta be in the left lane at all times always or else.

Or the tailgating because you happen to be the car in front of them. They'll be 6 miles away, but once I pull out when there's plenty of room and I accelerate at a very good clip, they've already stomped on it because I'm in front. I think this happens to everyone.

Whenever I pass someone, in either my NPC commuter or my Mustang GT, they always speed up and have to either be tailgating or get in front. In the Mustang, they HAVE to be in front because of their inadequate manhood(?) I guess. It's really weird.

Washington state has a law stating that all traffic must stay in the right lane unless the vehicle is overtaking/passing another vehicle. In reality, it only gets enforced a couple days a year.

Then the state patrol can officially say, "We enforce the left lane passing law every year!"
