I think what he did was order the mirror. Just the mirror. Not a mirror kit.
As much as I like those bumper lights I kept reading reviews that they don't last. I really like how they look. Do they just light up? Is there a brake and turn signal wire?

Did your mirror come with the extension?

I've had the same style lights on my Camry for years, from the same brand. That said the wires are quite thin. These are the lights for the IS F, but they're essentially the same concept.

Overall construction is on the cheaper side, but I haven't had issues yet.

The issues I've seen are the LEDs will die. So you'll be driving around with random LEDs dead. Maybe those are different brands?

Gave the GR a proper wash after the track sessions:
Found some dried up rubber pieces inside the rear wheels.

Another handwash and a little hard parking in the garage since my wife was out. The 4Runner typically stays in the 3rd bay.

Put in some footwell lighting - makes a huge difference. Also got some better pictures of the car with the CE hood installed.

Dash cam and radar detector are hardwired. Lights are plugged in via USB to a 12V power inverter that I have in my car.

Did you tap into the mirror for the dashcam and radar detector?

I think I tapped the 12V for the radar detector (it was the only one that did ignition switch on/off correctly for some reason) and the radio and hazard lights to get the dash cam functioning correctly with parking mode.

Ah okay. I'm going to try to use a mirror tap kit to avoid having to take apart interior pieces and to simplify wiring.

I just did fuse taps into the interior fuse box. There's a couple of screws to take out the plastic guard underneath the steering wheel to easily access the fuse box.

When you took out that plastic guard were you able to remove the obd2 connector? I was fiddling around with it and couldn't get that sucker out.

Yeah, there's a couple clips to the left and right sides. If you push one of them using a small flathead screwdriver, it should pop out relatively easily.

Got the car back from the dealership today. Front bumper respray looks great. Messed around with the torque pro app and set up the variables to log.
Ready to roll now.

I installed a mirror spacer to give me more tilt range of motion when using my broadway mirror. I don’t have to sink in my seat to see better now. I did have to dremel the mirror base to fit on the spacer.

1” drop can’t really see it with the covers on.

Interested to know what the engine mount will do for shifting feel/consistency.

Picked up my CE wing & hood from the paint shop & installed the wing.

the black wing w the white core roof had a bit too much contrast so I had the upper section color matched.
