Sorry to say but even with a black car that does not look paint matched.

Pretty sure he had it vinyl wrapped.Sorry to say but even with a black car that does not look paint matched.
It’s actually a vinyl wrap. I’m moving shortly so I didn’t want the hood to be at the paint shop and then curing etc and Have any issues while moving. I will keep the vinyl for now until I get moved to the new area then get it painted. The alignment was fairly simple. I kept the hood as far “forward” or “up” depending if it’s closed or open and loosely tightened the bolts until they held it in place then I closed it gently just till the latch clicked to make sure there was no obvious fitment then I pushed it down closed fully but wouldn’t “fully close” but is in the closed position and made adjustments and then tightened. In my case I got it first tryHow did the paint turn out? Did you get the under side painted? Was aligning the hood easy?
As ray said, this isn’t paint it’s vinyl. Just filler until I get moved and find a paint shopSorry to say but even with a black car that does not look paint matched.
Paint turned out well, a couple small imperfections in the clear coat but the guy got it done quick and cheap. I wasn’t expecting perfection given the quote he gave me. He used OEM paint at the very least so I know he didn’t cheap out on materials. I got the underside painted and aligning was surprisingly easy even as a one-man job.How did the paint turn out? Who did your paint and how much? I’m going to be moving to your area lmaoPaint turned out well, a couple small imperfections in the clear coat but the guy got it done quick and cheap. Guy on Facebook named Miguel. $300 and was able to get it in within a week.Who did your paint and how much? I’m going to be moving to your area lmao
You’ll have to get me in touch once I get there haha I think Austin said we actually might be in the same “suburb” of Denver lmao so I’m sure I’ll see you aroundGuy on Facebook named Miguel Plascencia. $300 and was able to get it in within a week.
I had some guys saying it would be $700 because white is the hardest color to match, they’re gonna have to blend the fenders, blah blah blah. Bro, it’s a straight up white sold by one of the biggest car manufacturers in the world and it’s going on a car that’s 3 months old. This dude just did it and surprise surprise, it’s a perfect color match and he didn’t have to do any of that shit.
That picture makes me want to wash the underside of my car.I replaced the trans, t-case, and rear diff fluid. Like everyone else on here has said, the rear diff was pretty bad but the rest were ok.
I also wrapped the exhaust to keep the clutch packs from overheating, but ended up with enough wrap (2"x25') that the rear diff was protected too:

I trimmed the hose clamps after I took the pic, and forgot to snap another pic lol.
Don't worry, I got the jokeIt says to not use it in any other country.
Highly illegal.![]()
Hmm, I wonder if I would prefer the white, does it match with everything else? I will Paypal you $50 bucks to set these up for me hahaI got my lighted door bowls. My phone has a nightscape mode, pics are still fuzzy. I could only find white on AliExpress. It's not my favorite place.

@Ultimateone had problems. I don't know if Toyota switched headlight signal wires or just every batch is wrong? My guess is every batch is wrong. Driver side is fine. All the other doors are one pin off.
Pass front. Wire picked is the red. You need white.
3rd from the left.
I simply used a butt connector and cut the supplied jumper harness.
Pass rear. Wire picked is grey. You need pink.
3rd from the left.
Driver rear. Wire picked is grey. You need purple.
You guessed it! You're amazing! 3rd from the left.
It's not a 100% match. But it's better then the Toyota blue I think. The wireless charger is blue and I look at it while driving because it doesn't match the white.Hmm, I wonder if I would prefer the white, does it match with everything else? I will Paypal you $50 bucks to set these up for me haha
I wish those lights appeared as a single line rather than individual LEDs.Finally got a chance to install the rear led reflectors from ijdmtoy.com

As much as I like those bumper lights I kept reading reviews that they don't last. I really like how they look. Do they just light up? Is there a brake and turn signal wire? Finally got a chance to install the rear led reflectors from ijdmtoy.com

hmm there’s 3 wires, ground and the other 2 are for the brake/ if you wanted to wire into turn signal I guess you could. As much as I like those bumper lights I kept reading reviews that they don't last. I really like how they look. Do they just light up? Is there a brake and turn signal wire?
Did your mirror come with the extension?
Ok. So running and brake signals.hmm there’s 3 wires, ground and the other 2 are for the brake/ if you wanted to wire into turn signal I guess you could.
I just wired them up to my license plate lights on the lowest brightness wire.
I also wrapped the whole wire assembly for longevity hoping they’ll last.
What do you mean extension? I do think that it has a little bit longer of a post it sits on.
interesting. I mean that’s what happens when you don’t buy genuine Toyota parts.Ok. So running and brake signals.
There was a member that installed it. The mirror sat close to the windshield and didn't have full adjustment. He sourced a spacer that moved it out
Could you share the mirror part number?
Thanks
If I remember correctly, I believe that fellow actually got an auto dimming mirror off of a different Toyota. So, genuine Toyota part for a different Toyota. I thought about doing it myself too since there are a lot of trucks around here.interesting. I mean that’s what happens when you don’t buy genuine Toyota parts.
PT374-00210 is the part number.
