Got the car ceramic coated today, boy is the white bright in the sun. My detail guy said there was a BUNCH of rail dust on the car, so if you haven't done a good detail on the car yet be sure to do so. Rail dust will eat through the clear coat. Rail dust remover or just a clay bar will do the trick.
Track wheels showed up as well as mudflaps from Rally Armour. Still breaking the car in so I won't mount these just yet, but I'll be sure to include pics when I do.

One of the things I don't like about the GR Corolla is how thin the steering wheel feels. So I sewed on an Alcantara cover for it. It took me about two hours. There are still some creases around the corners that I need to iron out later. Almost looks like the Morizo steering wheel. Took it for a test drive, and I can say that it feels much nicer around the hands.

Two needles! Red thread and double side sticky tape.
Drove 2.5 hours to go to a GR meet at Griot's Garage in Tacoma, WA. I was hoping that some other GRCs would show up but I was the only one in a Sea of GR Supras and GR 86s. It was a good time. They put me front and center since I was the only GR Corolla to show up.

I took mine to go skiing this weekend. The car did very well in the snow and I was able to fit ski gear for 2 people with plenty of space to spare. I averaged just over 30mpg even with some somewhat spirited driving.

How was driving on the snow with the PS4? I want to take her to the mountains but am holding off until I get a set of all-weather tires on.

There wasn’t any ice on the road and only a little bit of snow on the road. I don’t have a lot of experience driving in the snow and the conditions weren’t that bad at all this weekend. I’m sure others could give you a better idea of how the PS4s perform in the snow, but they seemed to be fine for me.
I've had to drive in the snow a couple of times on the PS4s since getting mine. Getting off the line isn't as bad as I thought it might be. The GR-Four system really does its job in finding traction even with snow/icy conditions and less than ideal tires. Things feel relatively stable at around 30 on surface streets, but I don't think I'd brave highway driving on them until they're pretty well plowed. Stopping distance is probably 50-75 percent greater than what I'd expect in my GTI on good all-seasons - you're going to start sliding pretty easily. Overall, they're not awful, but it's not something that I prefer to do. I'm hoping to make it through the summer and really have some fun on the PS4s before switching to some AS4s in the fall. I think it'll be pretty darn good with decent all-seasons and would be a beast if you threw some winter tires on.
I installed a rear spoiler and I must say that I love it.

We need some more pics of this from further away and different angles to really get a feel for how it compliments the car. So far it might be my favorite available right this minute.
To be fair, just about any tire that's not a winter tire is going to feel awful by comparison. At the end of the day, the PS4s are serviceable in snow, but you're going to want to change them pretty quickly if you regularly have snow. I can live with them in CO because snow is so sporadic here. If I were farther north, I probably would have been much more eager to switch them out.

Yes, it’s a blitz style wing. No, I don’t care it’s a Taiwanese knockoff. This thing is not worth $800 LOL and this comes painted.
For me, this is a temporary wing until something better comes out. If not, then I will just leave it on.
