VIN locked CE parts?

So, I was thinking about the possibility of CE parts being VIN locked. I know there has been a lot of interest for future core owners to obtain CE specific parts. Now, I believe Toyota has the same part numbers (for the most part) for universal parts (with the only ones different are in respect to LHD or RHD specific parts). With that being said, "in theory" the bulged and vented hood "should" be available to order without being VIN locked. Obviously I'm just speculating here, and I could totally be wrong because JDM vehicles don't have VIN's like NA cars do. But, the standard JDM trim for the GRC is the RZ, which comes with the bulged and vented hood. I don't believe the RZ will come with the CE spoiler though, at least it wasn't pictured with a big wang like the pre-production CE was rocking. So the spoiler may in fact be VIN locked, especially if it is only offered on the NA CE. I'm guessing the CE seats will also probably be VIN locked, as they are standard on the JDM RZ, but they are also RHD/LHD specific to an extent (at least the rails and what side the seat belt attaches to). The CF roof skin as well "in theory" should not be VIN locked (I mean I doubt any core owner would want to spend the money that Toyota would sell that thing for...).

Again, I'm just speculating here. What do y'all think?

Dunno, gotta wait and see. As I saw in other thread, many of the GRMN Yaris specific parts are available for purchase by anyone according to Japanese website, including the wing and front lips, so maybe only the really signature items like the shift knob.

I'm really hoping that the spoiler in Guff's video is available in some fashion. I love that thing.

Well, this picture from toyota was from the game last night right before halftime. Shows a red CE with a larger spoiler. Spoiler looks really similar and maybe even the exact same one from the preproduction CE. So hopefully it makes it to the production version..

It's a tossup for me between that and the veloster N's spoiler for favorite hatchback spoiler. Great balance between not too big, but very noticeable. The RS is up there, but these 2 are awesome. For anyone not in the know:

Yup, and I'm glad that black is not being offered on the CE. I'm CE or bust, and after seeing the red, I'm fine with any color CE I get (hopefully).

I'm more of a fan of the EK CTR OEM spoiler.

Would be nice if Toyota offered the hood vents and rear CE spoiler in carbon as an option, Along with adding some carbon mirror caps like they do for the supra.
The new CTR offers the rear spoiler blade in carbon, are you listening Toyota?? Can't let Honda one-up you like that!!
are you listening Toyota??

Toyota’s tagline is “Let’s Go Places”

Not “Have it your way.”

Think about it though, all you have to do is take the CE, add a carbon lip and say it’s a whole new special edition car 😂

They have to save something for tge GRMN Japan only model. But you can buy it after if you pony up the bucks. My idle speculation is like the GRMN Y itll get dry carbon hood, roof, wiing, front lip, among other tidbits.

Wow, although to be honest the inner face i prefer the base knob. The sig is cool tho
Man that picture is so bad lmao

Looks like the outside is alcantera/"ultra suede"? A little disappointing if so, since it tends to get kinda gross unless you always wear alcantera gloves.
