Very Limited Allocation for AUS/NZ

If there are only about 6500 cars made in the first year with just 1500 of those being the Circuit pack and at least 80% of these cars going to the US I am a little concerned at what kind of allocations we will get here.

Perhaps even the possibility of not getting the special edition at all?

This article was posted in another thread but it says that the 6600 figure is for North America which includes the 1500 Circuit editions plus 5100 Core Versions. There will be another 2000 for the rest of the world (Japan, Australia, NZ)

That still doesn’t seem like much and I can only assume Japan will get the majority of that 2000 as it is built there.
Fingers crossed we get some decent allocation and Circuit packs or ‘Rallye’
Based on those numbers I'd suggest around 500 for Australia and 100 for NZ. I think Japan will have it's own bespoke model specs just like they get for the GRY.
Article suggesting 500 coming to Australia. Also, suggesting a price tag starting at $70k driveway... which seems like a lot for a Corolla.

The sales rep I was talking with a few months ago thought it would be around 70-80k. I thought he was pulling my chain but he may have been right. I don't think even a circuit is worth 70k. I might just buy a GRY Rallye for 65k or a Nissan Z.

Crazy money if true, I was expecting it to be around $70k but not pushing $80k, that’s even Audi S3 money. In saying that this is a more special car but that price tag I feel is going to change a lot of minds. I still wonder how many circuit editions we will even get here if this allocation number is for real
