All the companies I was hoping for have already made the parts for the GRY or already make them for the standard Corolla. I'm just wondering what bolt pattern the GRC will have so I can see how hard it'll be for me to get the 18x8 OZ Superturismo WRC wheels will be. I have a buddy in the UK that could buy them from a local store and ship them to me but it'd obviously be easier if a US company had them

The Eventuri air intake looks super cool all carbon and says 14 hp 21 tq so those are nice numbers. I would think intake exhaust down pipes tune should land you near 400
Definitely going to need more than that for 400, especially if you want it on pump. I've seen 362 with exhaust, bigger turbo, valve springs, ECU, intercooler, intake on pump by Motive Garage. They're pushing 473 on E85 now

Yes I have been watching their Yaris mind you there 473 is also to the wheels. I should have been more specific

If you’re trying to go for a rally spec though, the WRC Yaris makes about 380 hp
I thought for 2021 they made about 390. I'm trying to fact check as I remember seeing it in a few rallies this year but I can't look back at the WRC 2021 re-live videos. The whole 380-400hp is going to depend on what I can get away with reliably on pump. 380 is accurate but I mean, why not go for the 400 if you're already there?

Oh I’m not against more power, I was just saying. Prototype WRC Yaris that didn’t get to race made 380, the Yaris that raced with the 4 banger made 380 on average.

With the new Hybrid powertrain though I’m not sure because they added new rules/regs like using pure electricity through towns and etc.

For me I’m going off of a basic back road touge type build with a sleight power bump, but if you want to make 400 or more the G16 is more then ready.

I'm very interested to see how much power the 2022 Rally1 cars will be making with the hybrid. The cars already sound amazing from all the test videos. Futuristic sounds combined with the classic rally sound

Was just on WRC website for the 22 season. From what I gather it says 100kw of electric power and 1.6 turbo for a combined 520hp
On the top of that, I remember telling people going forward I can see the GRC being more advertised and possibly in production longer then the 86 because of all the different powertrain option they’re using for the G16e. I can see another iteration being a hybrid with 350 hp or more easily.

Only thing I’m worried about is crash safety but other than that I’m excited. I was telling Toyyoda how Gazoo Racing’s competition looks good and how it was smart for them to put some of the rally drivers in rookie racing like Takamoto Katsuta.

Toyota has a pretty solid plan going into next season
