Any sales people are here that can confirm regions and number of dealers in each region?

I believe being in Idaho I am in the "Portland region" and I did a rough google search count of 76 dealers in this region based on the states google told me are in this region. If each region gets 90 cars (as rumored), it seems each dealer would get one (I'm first in line at my smaller dealer......hence why I am hand wringing over all this) at least with the other 14 cars going to higher volume dealers in Seattle, Portland etc.

The levels I am going through to reassure myself I am getting one of these......

Thanks. My dealer told me they sell quite a few TRD Pro Tacomas/Tundra's etc and seem to not be so small as to have an issue but we will see.

I think in this market, where even basic cars are hard to find at MSRP, it's going to be tough sledding to get a GRC at MSRP, or even at all in this first model year.

I have it in writing from this dealer that they agree to sell at MSRP. I asked the GM to sign it. This isnt my first rodeo with allocation cars/pre-orders, haha.

I was able to place down a reservation deposit yesterday down here in south Cali. I managed to call all Toyotas near me and so far have no clue about the car. Would you share the name of the dealership you placed the deposit with? Is it Longo in El Monte? I've been looking all over in San Diego and every dealer has MPA or ADM for their new cars.

I managed to place my Deposit on Toyota El Cajon. The rest didn't allowed me as they don't have information on it

A quick look at their new inventory reveals dealer installed options (about $3000 worth) on every vehicle. Did you get a written guarantee on pricing?

I would always, personally, get everything you discussed with a dealer on a deal like this, in writing. I have bought everything from P cars, C8 Corvettes, Focus RS's to S209's on pre-order/allocations with various levels of success and misunderstanding/taking a dealer for their word etc. I now clearly state exactly what I want and how I want it. Usually some back and forth and then before I give a card for deposit I ask for it all in writing and signed by the GM.

I've learned the hard way.

Gotcha, appreciate it. I'll see what I can do about the situation since I've paid already. If anything once another dealer calls I'll go over everything with them and cancel my deposit with the El Cajon one. Thank you

I'm first on the list at a dealership where my school is in South Dakota, and also first on the list and my hometown in Northern California. Hopefully MSRP! And hopefully they'll be getting some!

I just got off the phone with Longo. The waitlist is at 100 right now, it started 2-3 months ago. Fully refundable deposit, but I think it's safe to say people at the end of line won't get theirs.

Agreed, when I called Eli there today at like 11 AM there were 65 on the list and I figured it was too late.

Can you catch me up on this rumor? What is 90/region...All models or Circuit edition? Can't imagine them only selling 1000 total vehicles when there's 1200+ dealers.

Yeah I’m just going off other posts on this forum that mention 1080 total for this year/90 per region/12 regions.

I posted this before the launch and knew there were 2 trims. Sounds like you know a lot more than I do, do you work for a dealer?

Agreed, when I called Eli there today at like 11 AM there were 65 on the list and I figured it was too late.

I'm #24 or #25 can't remember, I called a few days before the reveal.

Depending on pricing hopefully I can get a Circuit Edition. I have no idea how likely or unlikely this is but when I asked about the GR86 the waitlist was 200+, granted this will be a lower volume car. If you're one of the first 100 I figure you should have a decent shot at getting one in the next year or so.

Just wondering where people came up with those numbers. If it's from those leaked sales plan a few months ago, I wouldn't go by that, since there's nothing there saying they're only going to release 90/region.
