You guys seriously aren’t going about this the best way possible. Here’s what you do:
Pick a dealership with a big ADM. get 6-8 guys together. Go in to the dealership one at a time, starting in the morning. Ask about the GRC. spend lots of time with the salesman. Ask lots of questions. Waste as much time as you can. When it comes time to negotiate, state that you are ready to pay MSRP and nothing more. Allow the salesman to waste more of his time trying to convince you to pay adm. allow the general manager to waste some time on you too. Declare that there’s no way you’ll pay over msrp, get up, and leave.
Let 5 mins go by, and have the second guy arrive, and start the whole process again. Waste as MUCH of the dealership’s time as you can, always ending up with ‘if be happy to pay msrp but no more’.
Wash rinse and repeat all day long. This works best on a busy day such as a Saturday. Really waste their time, and always end with ‘this car is a great deal, at msrp’
If you can organize enough guys, you could keep this up for days/weeks on end.
