For those looking to protect your 8” infotainment screen, I just installed one that fits like a glove and looks great. Sharing is caring.

I didn't think of this. Good idea. How does it respond to touch with it on? Does it glare or look different going through the protector?

Response is perfectly normal. Exactly the same as putting on a glass screen protector on your cell phone.

I guess you can say the glare is a little more since it’s not matte like the original screen, but there’s a glare regardless with or without it. It doesn’t bother me.

I got mine at Aliexpress, a little chearper and works fine if you don't mind waiting for the slow shipping. Doesn't seem to affect touch sensing for me.

Are these touch screen actually ever scratched? I've never done it to any of mine...

The best way I can answer that is by saying the screen is plastic instead of glass. So will it scratch overtime? Absolutely. Mohs hardness scale says it all.
