It's weird because of the actual codes they have for each trim. Technically, in Canada, there are only three options of GR Corolla: Core, Circuit and Morizo. The latter is kind of an add on to the core, so they are, in the back end, considered options.

Still can't believe Americans pay more for the optional paint. Supersonic red and heavy metal are $425 USD options and only $250 CAD options for y'all. I mean WTF? $250 CAD is less than $200 USD. I mean the cars get painted in Japan, so it's not like the paint cost Toyota extra depending on the region it's shipped to. I mean it's only $225 USD more, but where is the justification for this increase? 🤬

Thank you very much for this information! By curiosity, is it the same as in the US where allocations are straght up assigned with a VIN? If so, how can we find it? I am curious because I'm first at my dealer (a small one in Quebec's province) for a white core and I fell like I would get better & faster information from here. Like if the don't get my color at first I'm not sure I would be informed and I certainly would like to know. Also getting a VIN somehow makes it way more real and happening héhé

Nevermind guys, I looked back at my bill of sales and it's this exact price.. Sorry for being too lazy lol! And no my dealer is not Lachute Toyota but rather a small dealer in the back country near Québec City actually.

Edit: I was talking about this dealer cause the screen shot in this thread was mentionning Lachute Toyota, that's all.

Yeah, I was going to say that the price is including of all the features, even the PP.

Ha!
Sorry about that bud! = P

It's such a tease too, the one we received isn't an allocation for our dealer, it's just Toyota Canada parking a car here before the Montréal carshow.
There's a couple of tier 3 dealers getting a car before us, it just doesn't make sense.
But hey that's nothing new. 😅

Finally getting my GR on Thursday! Just passed credit check today. Has anyone opted in for the dealership rustproofing?
And, has anyone done the math to figure out if the warranty with service included is worth buying vs paying for the services for 5 yrs?

For the extra warranty, It will depend of how much time you think you will keep the car and if you will save money for paying repair costs afther the end of the original warranty. For my part I will probably paid for the mind peace and taking the great extra warranty.

And I think I will take the rust protection from my dealer, but do not put it in the contract, I don’t want to finances a low cost service on all of the term. It’s like the tire and the accessories, it’s not worthy.

Merci
