I myself am a product design engineer with a degree In Mechanical Engineering. I work In the automotive field.

I work for a company that manufactures building materials. I’m on the technical side, so I teach contractors how to use our stuff, deal with product claims, make product recommendations, and help test and develop new products.

I always joke that I work in IT because computers are predictable and people aren't. My wife has a degree is psych and used to do similar work. Massive props to you, her and everyone in your field. You don't get nearly enough credit.

I worked as an auto tech for several years but I’m about to graduate law school in a couple weeks and (hopefully) start to practice. The Corolla GR was supposed to be my graduation present to myself if I can get one!

Currently I am Optical Coating Technician. I basically do the anti-reflective coating on your glasses. It's pretty good but, being that I'm near Seattle I've been trying to get into IT in some fashion. I've spent a few years teaching myself Front End Web Development. I can make some cool websites using React and JavaScript. The market is absolutely flooded though, because of how high the pay is. I'm also competing against people with degrees. I'll get it eventually, I'm not discouraged. Just gonna keep building things and applying!

I was a auto technician for 7 years or so. Worked at Toyota and Honda (master tech). Went to aerospace. I currently perform flight control, functional tests on live airplanes. My birthday is in October and the GR corolla is basically a birthday gift to myself.

So many different walks of life here, it's fascinating! One of the things I love most about these communities.

I went to school for materials engineering, then realized after school I didn't actually care for it. Did some random tech jobs for a couple years then started doing video production on the side. Made a YouTube channel and started posting just as a creative outlet while growing the production business. 6 years later, YouTube is my full time job! And even though I work far more now than I ever did, I wouldn't trade it for anything.
