It’s amazing how well they’ve retained their values but I’ve got to imagine that’s a limited number of replacements plus their discontinuation. The logical next step would’ve been Veloster N for most people but even those are gone.

Thanks! It’s a fun little bugger that’s plenty modern, reliable, and easy to toss around. Just want AWD now plus something a lil bigger for potential future kiddos.

I had Recaro's in my FiST, so thats a downgrade, but not one I feel besides the physical difference in leather vs cloth. Bolstering is just as comfortable, though less obvious. The space is pretty much the same. There might be a little more leg room in the back? I still only have enough space for one bag of hockey gear unless I fold down seats. I don't remember what the volume is in trunk space, but it does not feel significantly larger. Externally, you notice the GRC is longer right away. I can't fit in my car port without the butt sticking out anymore. XD

That sounds like I'm harping on it, but I didn't buy the GRC because it was more spacious or had better seats. I got it for the AWD and 300HP, and my goodness do they deliver. I was used to giving the Fiesta a good amount of gas to get it going. 2k RPM was a fair pace, 3k was nice, and 4k started to in you to the seat. Driving it off the lot, in the GRC, I barely hit 3k (I think I was still around 2800?) when the car surged forward and caught me off guard. I knew I was going to have to get used to the power increase, but I didn't expect it to be so apparent. I feel like, even after my 5 year warranty, I will probably leave it stock, or at least only give it a mild tune now that the ECU has been cracked. I do not plan on adding any hardware for power. This feels right.

Sounds like a lot of the things I looked for / expected. Not shocked the stock seats are a downgrade vs my Recaros but also not shocking. For trunk space I’d love to be able to for a set of golf clubs in the back. I know it fits in the regular Corolla HB so hoping for the same.

How does the steering weight and feel compare? How about shifter feel?

I’ll definitely miss this car but why you got your GRC is exactly why I’m getting rid of mine. Fiesta is very stout, fun, capable at the limit, and lovely little sized. Pretty much the antithesis of the Focus ST 😂

The steering is a little heavier and not as direct, but not enough of a difference that I care. The shifter has shorter throws and feels great.

I'm not going to lie, I legit felt sad when they took my keys, but that didn't last long.

They’re around this mark but just not looking to get raked by dealer trade in.

I just traded in my '16 for 14k in december when i got my GRC. It sold for 20k a week ago. Carvana was also offering 14k at the time of trade-in. 😱

At that price, I'm seriously contemplating keeping my ST. Hard to justify owning two cars (especially two hatchbacks) but it's so fun to drive, and I have a feeling these STs are going to go for a lot more in the future

if i had somewhere to keep both, i would have. Unfortunately, we were already a 2 car family.
