Apples and oranges, some people like apples some like oranges.Well you do get the GR Yaris and we don't so fair is fair.
A lot of cool hatches? Aside from a few German ones there's not a lot else we get in Europe due to strict emission laws.Even beyond the GRY, you guys get a lot of cool hatches. Nothing has really been confirmed yet so who knows
Yeah, how dare they! Just like how dare they not sell the GRY in North America, its only the second largest market in the world? And who knows, they may go gloval with it later. Production is so low that really, it makes sense to offer it in the market that really wants it first. Can't believe Toyota made the GRC for North America only. There is such a potential for sales outside of North America but sadly Toyota doesn't see that.
Understandable. But I don't think you realize how painful it was to watch every Ford RS model over the past 40 years and get 1 out of like 7 of those incredible vehicles lol. Check out our Ford Escorts vs yours 😩A lot of cool hatches? Aside from a few German ones there's not a lot else we get in Europe due to strict emission laws.
Actually Toyota is one of the only manufacturers to vastly change their model line up per country and to make matters worse they have huge variances in the specs offered per country. Like the Corolla Hybrid 2.0 in the UK has no Adaptive Variable Suspension but the rest of Europe does even though the European models are all produced in Devon. Bonkers really.Yeah, how dare they! But why it's not on the press release on Toyota Australia? It should be simulI've been told by my local Toyota dealer that it is coming to Australia.
UK/Europe might be missing out due to emissions regulations like the Nissan Z.
Yeah maybe not as much lately but I mean, there's still a lot compared to us. Especially if you consider usedA lot of cool hatches? Aside from a few German ones there's not a lot else we get in Europe due to strict emission laws.
True they haven't "publicly" confirmed it. I think it could have something to do with the GR86 which still hasn't been released over here yet.But why it's not on the press release on Toyota Australia? It should be simul
At least you guys have the GR YarisTrue they haven't "publicly" confirmed it. I think it could have something to do with the GR86 which still hasn't been released over here yet.
GRY is impractical for a daily, that's why nearly everyone getting it in the UK are those who can afford a second additional car for themselves and anyway, waiting lists are nearly 2 years long here for the GRY and most dealers haven't been accepting orders for over half a year.At least you guys have the GR Yaris
How much do you think this hot hatch will sell? Don’t think it’s going to be lower than 40k usd, with all those specsGRY is impractical for a daily, that's why nearly everyone getting it in the UK are those who can afford a second additional car for themselves and anyway, waiting lists are nearly 2 years long here for the GRY and most dealers haven't been accepting orders for over half a year.
GRC was what so many of us assumed would be a practical version of the GRY which can be produced quicker than the GRY. Most people ended up going for the Golf R instead as for the price and hot hatch practicality you can't get much else. And seeing how many of them you see on UK streets they definitely have been successful.
Toyota never seem to understand their markets properly. Look at the pathetic Lexus dangerous offered in the UK or the handful of engines and transmissions Toyota and Lexus offer across their model line up.
