subscribe for armrest
I have a feeling it was just a mixup and it's just a thing for the ME(which is not in the photo) which would make most sense as it's a track focused car they're only making 200 of a yearEarly reviews mention that Toyota has removed the armrest between the front seats to "save weight". Quick look at the press release photos here, arm rest's weight was not a consideration a few months back:

I don't buy the whole weight saving spiel, if anything it is cost cutting, but I really hope this is an easy aftermarket fix.
Yeah, I feel like it was just a mistake. It makes literally no sense to not have an armrest in the Core or the Circuit. For the Morizo I totally understand. I know I'll definitely be buying an aftermarket armrest if they've omitted it.I have a feeling it was just a mixup and it's just a thing for the ME(which is not in the photo) which would make most sense as it's a track focused car they're only making 200 of a year
Yeah I see the factory guys surrounded by bins of parts. They’re building a circuit and run out of armrests…..uh this things gotta go to the US tomorrow! I’ll slap this leftover Morizo style middle console in it and call it a day…..they’ll never notice…..The Utah event was for driving impressions and they might have used a mix of pre-production vehicles configurations. Since CE/ME are not due till next year, they're probably still working on the finishing touches. Fully expect the arm rest to be there in the final product.
Redline Reviews posted pictures of a red Core in Utah and that car doesn’t have the armrest.I'm going with it being an ME and maaaybbeeee CE thing. The Core will almost certainly have an armrest
EDIT: Just went back and watched TheTopher's video. That model definitely had an armrest.
that car was wack, it had the alcantara interior and non-matching calipers as well. It's almost like Toyota did this on purpose to keep us guessing lmaoRedline Reviews posted pictures of a red Core in Utah and that car doesn’t have the armrest.
The more depressing explanation is that Toyota could barely get the parts in for all the press carsthat car was wack, it had the alcantara interior and non-matching calipers as well. It's almost like Toyota did this on purpose to keep us guessing lmao
I think most people are going to want a radio. Those that buy this to be a track rat will totally strip it and put a roll cage in it anyway. You can quickly make the CE lighter than a Morizo if you want to shred it.Isn't this pre-production so it can change on the final model. I hope Toyota has a radio delete kit and weight saving plugs and covers.
Yeah but I was thinking of a solution looks more OEM since the infotainment tablet does a lot more then the radio. I used radio delete as a generic term.I think most people are going to want a radio.
