Applying structural adhesive wouldn't be possible on existing cars from previous years, so we're missing out on that.

Upgrading the JBL system with a trunk subwoofer and a new amplifier would likely be easy to upgrade.

And the cool air duct, IMO this is the same as the Velossa Tech BIG MOUTH PLUS High Flow Induction kit, but produced by Toyota on 2026 model year vehicles.

Cool air duct hopefully cheaper than Velossa Tech BIG MOUTH PLUS High Flow OEM part I would consider purchasing.

 

A cool air duct design for the earlier cars secondary airbox intake is available for download and printing on OnShape, and someone here (Conissur?) is selling them also. I would think Toyotas part has more engineering incorporated though, probably more volume for reduced noise.

 

I think the air duct would be cool OEM upgrade, but I can see it being super expensive.

 

How about using Spoon rigid collar to reduces wobble of the steering wheels with uneven pavement. Sharpens suspension feel and increases chassis rigidity.

Fake engine noise arrived with the '25s along with active noise cancellation. I turned the fake engine noise off with Carista.

 

Haha, they removed the fake engine noise from the yaris and put it into the corolla

I never heard it in Normal mode. I only heard it in Sport and on mine Custom because I had the sport engine/throttle setting selected, which is what it's seemingly tied to AFAIK.

 

All I know is after I disabled ESE in Carista, the consistent synthetic hum/whine that would get louder with acceleration went away

 

The vented hood appears to be standard on all trims now. I think that is a change from the '25 model. Cool.
