So found out that Toyota will be suspending operations of numerous production plants in July due to shortages and supply chain issues. More importantly, the Motomachi plant will be suspended for the first 2 weeks in July. I don't know if this will have any impact on the anticipated release date of the GRC or not, as it is not currently in production as of yet. Just thought I would share.

I’m appalled. This is incredibly disturbing and I can’t believe that my Toyota will be potentially delayed by 2 weeks. Who do they think they are?!
It’s not that per se, there were other closings that delayed the GR Yaris deliveries and also slowed testing for final production GRCs. (Hence the pre production cars)

all it means is it won’t be delayed but launch will be very similar to the GR86 where barely any cars arrive, and when they do it will only be to certain areas. Lol

So a slower rollout.

And then after 6 months you will see them pretty often.
