Wait I thought the goal of this kit was to not drill in to the grill
@Mishimoto I don’t see two options when looking at the mount on the site. I want to get the one that is not blocking GR logo. Any advice?
Hey Team - thanks for lending a hand with these replies while I was out at SEMA.

Correct, this kit does not require cutting, but you can choose to drill a hole in the plastic OEM tow hook cover. It provides a more 'clean' look, but the relocation bracket + license plate provide reasonable coverage.

There are two mounting locations on the relocation bracket. If you flip it 180 degrees, it gives you another mounting option. One covers the GR logo and the logo shifts the plate closer toward the center line of the vehicle. Options options!

Hey @Gazoolla - Great question! I'll do some digging and get back to you.

I just got my plate mount in the mail, but im waiting on my 2024 premium to arrive. I will try to post an update once I get delivery which is anytime between Dec 14th and Jan 10th.

I've got this mounted on my 2024 premium and the parking sensors seem to work just fine. Mine's mounted so that it does not cover the GR logo.
Nice, I just got an update that my car will be here any day. Thanks for the post I was hoping I could use the mounting location that didn't cover the GR logo and not interfere with the sensor.

Hey GR Corolla Crew,

As excited as we were to get our GR Corolla in the Mishimoto R&D facility, the tech who did our PDI jumped the gun on attaching the front OEM license plate frame mount. That, plus the dealer license plate frame, left four holes in our front bumper grille. Luckily, we are working on a solution to avoid holes being drilled in your brand new front bumper.

(Excuse the dried water drops on the front bumper. We got caught in a surprise downpour on the drive back to the shop.)

When will you have a product available on the market?
We are starting our R&D phase and engineering a solid solution takes time. I will keep everyone in the loop on product release timing as the project progresses.

How much will it cost?
It's too early in the project to know, but we are shooting for under $100.

Will there be a discount?
We typically host a pre-sale before the product launches/ships. I'll keep you in the loop on timing for this, too.

Our first thought is to use the tow hook location to the drivers side of the GR logo. Is it a concern for you guys if the license plate covers the GR logo?

how do you remove the tow hook cover? I feel like I’m gonna break it 🥲

It's a little scary but if you shove a plastic pry tool in the gap like the picture above you can start to pry and it will just pop. I thought I was going to break something when I did mine as well. I bought a pry tool set that came with like 4 different shaped plastic panel tools and found a thin and wide one that I was able to get in there with. My first couple of attempts didn't work because I tried to pry before I had the tool inserted very far and the tool just slipped out. Once I shoved it in about 1/2" or so i was able to get the cover off.

I had the same problem and didn’t want to jam plastic pry tools into the narrow gaps. Mishimoto tech support sent me a short video showing to hold bottom left and bottom right to pull it straight off forward. I had to pull a bit harder then the video showed but it came off without prying.
