Exciting news
Beat me to it! So I guess it only confirms the leak months ago stating it would be released in October as well. So I wonder if the 90 units in the NY region that was also in that leak is also true...Shared on the Facebook page but figured I’d share on here in case that person didn’t throw it on here. Apparently an internal memo View attachment 2499
Why do you think Kirk Kriefels got so upset when it originally leaked? LolBeat me to it! So I guess it only confirms the leak months ago stating it would be released in October as well. So I wonder if the 90 units in the NY region that was also in that leak is also true...
Lmao I saw the original video before it was taken down and then I saw his reaction video and he was soooooo butthurtWhy do you think Kirk Kriefels got so upset when it originally leaked? Lol
For Kirk it was because he could’ve made more videos about all those cars, “speculations” and so on. His first couple GR Corolla videos were some of the highest viewed videos.I don't understand why that information being leaked is a big deal. Or better yet-why it's kept hush hush to begin with.
Yeah how he went about it seemed kind of pouty and put some people off.Lmao I saw the original video before it was taken down and then I saw his reaction video and he was soooooo butthurt
They do. LolI can’t help but think someone somewhere already knows all the information and is just waiting until they’re supposed to release it
B*stardsThey do. Lol
I used to really like the guy and couldn’t wait to hear his take on his ride-along in the GR. Then the day comes, everyone and his grandmother posts their impressions…3 days after….he posts many other videos from his visit to Toyota HQ, he finally includes the GRC as a piece of the GR tent, then wraps up the video and signs off with the GRC ride along as an end credits style item with no comments other than him talking to the driver about what the driver does for a living…I then mentioned in his comments that we were waiting for his impressions with baited breath, he replied that He hadn’t commented only because he had a lot of videos to post, and to this day has never given us his impressions of the ride along…..I really like the guy but I’m there for an honest opinion of the product I’m buying…so I had to unsubscribe. I was really disappointed because I really trusted his opinion because he always seemed genuine without over-hyping things.Yeah how he went about it seemed kind of pouty and put some people off.
People in the comments knew he wanted to milk a lot of videos over those next 4-5 months. 😂
Great guy though.

He’s gotten better since meeting AutomotivePress. A lot of what he seems to know behind the scenes are things only David would know from being a Toyota engineer.I don't take driving impressions from a journalist seriously. Most of them don't know much about driving in general, so anything over the speed limit is impressive to them.
That being said, that's not why I watch Kirk. He is good at sifting through speculation and taking educated guesses. Also, he's a huge Toyota/Lexus enthusiast with a good understanding of the brand's history.
I agree on your AutomotivePress comment. Kirk definitely got more dialed in after teaming up with David. Kirk’s take on news went from single article views to more world market views. Hope The best for him. He’s gotten better since meeting AutomotivePress. A lot of what he seems to know behind the scenes are things only David would know from being a Toyota engineer.
Like I said he’s a good guy, that whole lineup leak video he made just put a bad taste in people’s mouth.
I saw that earlier... Hahahaha.... Not only do we have undercover Toyota execs on the forums, but automotive journalists as well. Dude getting paid to "write" stories that we post about for free...lmao I love when I find articles that reference my own post
