Well this looks cool. I don't want an EV yet, but I wouldn't mind ripping around in an EV NSX successor.
STi EV is nextAs expected, next NSX is a EV.
I wonder what the other one will be.
S2000?As expected, next NSX is a EV.

Possibly we’ll see!! That one looks more production without the glowing wheels&
S2000?
2009 was the last year of the production S2000.Let’s hope they are good. It’s been over 20 years since Honda made a great sports car. I owned one. Hopefully this will draw some attention and grab some Randys off the GRC over to one of these![]()
It always sounds better when you round it up to the worse number, come on. You should know this 🙄😂😂2009 was the last year of the production S2000.
2022 - 2009 = 13 years.
What year did they introduce it to market? What year was it truly new? It wasn’t 20092009 was the last year of the production S2000.

2004 introduced the AP2. I'm ignoring the CR, since it was basically a AP2 with a wing and new front lip. What year did they introduce it to market? What year was it truly new? It wasn’t 2009![]()
"over 20 years since Honda made a great sports car"
Round up to the worse number has no relevance. In 2009, I could walk into almost any Honda dealership and buy a new S2000.

2022 - 2004 = 18.
Before you go about trying to back-pedal. AP2 may have been a simple refresh, but it involved:
- new engine (for US)
- new trans
- new diff
- new driveshaft
- redesigned bumpers
- redesigned headlamps and taillamps
- redesigned shocks/spring
- redesigned seats
- redesigned trans tunnel cover
- redesigned dash
- new wheels
- redesigned axle back exhaust
- new ecu
- new sway bars
- different tuning to the electronic steering rack
Additionally, you didn't say "design from the ground up" or add other splitting hairs type of qualifiers.
You stated it's been over 20 years since Honda made a great sports car. It hasn't.
To a point that you may have been trying to make... It's certainly been 20 years since the first gen NSX, which is arguably a better car than the current NSX.
Is this your deal…you get on the internet to try and find some thing you can argue over incessantly?"over 20 years since Honda made a great sports car"

Weird, I mentioned a simple error in your math and you replied by back-pedaling and being more pedantic, rather than simply saying: "yep, I'm wrong". And yes, I am absolutely aware of the irony that we both are being pedantic... I just don't think YOU see it.Is this your deal…you get on the internet to try and find some thing you can argue over incessantly?![]()
What I stated was correct. If you want to get into semantics, yes a new EV based RWD sports car would be the first FMC or “new” from them in over 20 years. First new model in over 2 decades. There is nothing wrong but someone trying to create a senseless argument. What a waste of time. I’ll leave you to it.Weird, I mentioned a simple error in your math and you replied by back-pedaling and being more pedantic, rather than simply saying: "yep, I'm wrong". But, you do you.
