I am from WA State. My current ride is a 4 Runner Limited. I have owned a Matrix XRS, and I miss the performance. Thinking about the GR Corolla. This looks like an awesome place! I look forward to learning a lot! Thanks for having me!

Awesome! How are ya? How's that 2ZZ running? Damn, I miss that motor! Early Saturday morning 3rd gear lifts! That thing is scary composed at 105 mph.....uh.....so I'm told. LOL.

It's holding up quite well for an engine with 190k miles on it! I've got the dreaded timing chain cover gasket leak, but that's about it as far as I can tell! Dependable as can be throughout my rallycrossing and track days.

What clutch are you running? My stock one was an issue. Would smoke that sucker on pulls.

WRC is so awesome....particularly in the snow. It makes no sense in a wonderful way.....badass cars ripping through a show covered forest in the middle of winter. Just fabulous. I also think that it is a formula which celebrates the cars and manufacturers. I love the cars.

One day I want to go to Rally Sweden before they don't have it as the winter rally anymore. Loved it in 2021 when we had 2 snow rallies in the form of Sweden and Arctic Rally Finland

Finland....in the summer. That's the one I want to go to. All of the jumps...and speed....and the homeland of the TGR WRC. All in. It will happen someday!

I... don't know lol. It's probably an OEM replacement? I get smoke during hill starts which is fun in the hills of Seattle on which I live. Hopefully I can throw in an LSD next time I have to take a look at the clutch.

Yeah, my OEM was terrible....The drivetrain on the XRS was designed for the Celica GTS which was about 300 pounds lighter. Some think that that was too much for the clutch. The drivetrain in the GR Corolla is the same as in GR Yaris...and the Corolla is about 200 pounds heavier....wondering if that clutch might be an issue at some point as well.
